Was looking for some homemade Cuban food ( I am P.R.) There are a lot of Cuban restaurants in Miami. Came across this hidden gem. The service was amazing but the best part was the cook outdid herself. Will return and recommend to family and friends

Cuban sandwich and fries. Processed white cheese, processed meat, dry commercial bun. Like a jacked up grilled cheese.

Service with a scowl (at least when eating outside), downright unfriendly. Won’t be back.

A low-key, relaxed rincon with great value. The food portions are good and the food has a home style, comforting quality. They have an extensive menu and their specialty items, like the deep-fried, whole fish are exceptionally satisfying.

A local Cuban American Restaurant. It was recommended by the desk clerk at the Element. He arranged for the shuttle to drop us off and pick us up.
The food was excellent and so was the service A local place, with indoor and outdoor seating . There were couples, groups of friends and families

Waitress was nice, but after our food was served we never saw her again anywhere. It took close to 1/2 hour to get our check. I ordered the Cuban sandwich which had 1 slice ham, 1 slice cheese, and a few pickles, mayo. The people next to us had to return their order twice. Sorry won't go back.

Great coffee....love the outdoor counter and stools

Excellent Cuban food - the roast pork, sweet plantains, and rice and beans were amazing. Not a dress-up type of restaurant but the food quality and quantity make it well worth

We stayed at the nearby Holiday Inn Express. This Cuban local restaurant was authentic and affordable. Interesting food with generous portions.

Poor customer service! Was not worth wasting my money. Was willing to give it a try but the server didnt even make an effort. Disappointed.
Maybe if I was a guy she would of made more of effort.

Me and my sis sat outside on the bar stools at the counter. We ordered the fried whole fish and rice. Placed another to go order. We also got a free shot of the Cuban coffee and went back a few days later for the coffee. Everything was delicious. The service was great except some of the waitresses were having a difficult time with understanding English when we were ordering or asking for certain things. Thats ok cause its Miami where mostly everyone speaks Spanish. But, Its also a tourist attraction so that was surprising to me. Google translate and me knowing words in Spanish helped.

I love their Cafe con Leche; I always stop here whenever I visit Miami. Sometimes the service is a little inconsistent. They seem to cater to the regulars a little better than the occasional. Food is always hot but can sometimes take a while.

The food was really good but the service was almost non existent. No one greeted us when we entered. We had to grab our own menus that were left on tables. Same goes for our silverware. The server came by a few minutes later completely unapologetic. When I was ordering she didn't acknowledge my husband because he is white and doesn't speak Spanish. The rest of time we were there she came by twice. Once to deliver the food the next time was to pick up our empty plates. After sitting for 15 min I finally flagged her down to get the check. To be fair she seemed to be the only server working. I would return because it was affordable and the food was delicious

Food was dry, very little English spoken by staff
Tip is automatically added to the bill, I paid cash and they were trying to hide this on the receipt, holding it in a way so I wouldn't see it
Be careful of such actions, they try to take advantage of the tourists
