Good chicken steak and fries. Happy to see the place totally refurbished. Much nicer. Though somewhat higher prices, still good value for money. Had the John Bill Fish with two side orders, excellent. Still the best place for palomilla steak, chicken steak and those wonderful fries and tostones. Flan out of this world.!!!

The worker showed me a menu that said palomilla steak 14.50 was my usual dish and a coffee only that when the bill arrives 52 dollars and the tip 18% the minimum I know that everything has gone up but the menu they showed me only had 4 sides, it is not the one that appears here Forgive me, the public who may have read my comment, I wrote it in a bad mood, I clarify in the 4-page menu, the only palomilla steak says 14.50. I don't remember the cents well, I know it says 14. I ordered 2 steaks, I went with my wife and a coffee. In any case, it would be 30, not 52, plus the coffee. If you tell me that the dish costs 25.00 and I order it, I don't have to make negative comments. Please change the menu with the real prices. Sorry, I am correcting myself. My intention is not to destroy, it is to avoid problems. Thank you.

I went to this place for more than 15 years and they are no longer the same place. They doubled the prices, reduced the seasoning and now charge for almost every single side dish. So sad to see another Miami original become another bland, boring inauthentic restaurant. Won’t be going back.

I just spent $30 on 2 pan con bistec that I had to throw away when I got home. The fries were oozing grease every where it ran into the paper bag. The steak was tough, the bread was like a media noche bread soft so it soaked all the oil up couldn't be eaten. I'm very upset because I was really craving the sandwich and I had to throw everything away. This is the last thing I'll ever buy there. I hadn't visited them in years and I thought let me help a small business out and I live close, but they left me disgusted. If you want to charge then you need to give quality to survive in the Restuarant business... This is not good.......

I spoke with the Mgr. about the quality of the Milanese chicken. It doesn't compare to the years our whole family went and we had to wait on the sidewalk to enter. I hope they improve and contact their customers if they have complaints to improve the restaurant. You have to spoil the customer and give them good food service otherwise they are not forced to eat quality food again. Thank you so much.

Have been coming here for a long time. The place is now under new owner which has done a nice job renovating the place. We come here for the steak with fries, unfortunately lately the fries have been soggy and the steak is just ok. What has not changed is the service, Fabio is great! He’s an old timer there and he gives excellent service.

New owners took over recently. They completely remodeled the interior. While it's much nicer than before, it is no longer the classic Miami restaurant it used to be.
The food unfortunately is not the same either and not as good. The classic steak and fries are just a shadow of what they used to be. Many items on menu are not available.
The staff is very nice and friendly but even though it was not busy service took a long time.
The place was always packed. Why mess with success?

Our waiter Favio has been there for many years and we always ask for him because he is very patient and extremely attentive with my elderly parents. The restaurant has new owners as most of you know by now and the menu has been expanded from what it used to be. The Rio Crystal tasted great but the cut of meat is not what it used to be. It is very thin so asking for it to be cooked medium is almost impossible. We have been going there for years and will continue to go until Favio retires. Enjoy !!! Btw, the Flan is awesome.
