Nothing out of this world. The music was too loud and inappropriate for a restaurant.
In the chimichurri on my table there were some pieces of shrimp shell in the sauce.

The food was good. I had the grilled steak which was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. However, the price were a little higher for the portion sizes. It's a nice place for a special occasion but not something I'd do frequently. Service was great and the vibe was chill.

I have visited the place at least 3 times, the food and desserts have always been delicious; The attention from the waiters has also been very good, I just wish they had a space to change diapers in the bathrooms.
Kid-friendliness: There is no place to change diapers in the bathrooms

Excellent that the owner stops by our table to ask if everything is very good, and to introduce himself as the boss that he is ??and otherwise very good service, excellent food 100% recommended, go for the barbecue or a good fish ?

I recently visited Black Forest and unfortunately had a very negative experience regarding parking. Upon arrival, I found the rear parking space available, but was rudely informed that I could not park there as it was reserved for a friend of the staff. I believe it is inappropriate to prioritize acquaintances over customers who arrive first. This situation reflects a lack of professionalism and customer service that disappointed me. I hope that measures will be taken in the future to improve this experience.

I came by in the morning and I felt as when I was traveling through the north part of Nicaragua and stopped for breakfast in the mountains. The huevos rancheros, gallo pinto, tortillas with cheese and cream were delicious.

**Over 15 Years of Memorable Dining at Selva Negra**
For over 15 years, Selva Negra has been my go-to destination for authentic Nicaraguan cuisine and a warm, family-friendly atmosphere. This restaurant has not only stood the test of time but has continually exceeded my expectations with each visit.
A heartfelt thank you to the exceptional team—Raquel, Diany, Nuriam, and Kwame—who consistently go above and beyond to make every dining experience unforgettable. Their attentive service and genuine smiles add a personal touch that makes you feel right at home.
The menu is a delightful journey through Nicaragua's rich culinary heritage. One standout you absolutely must try is their **Pio Quinto dessert**—a delectable cake drenched in rum, topped with creamy custard, and dusted with cinnamon. It's the perfect sweet ending to a comforting meal and hands down the best I've ever tasted.
The environment at Selva Negra is both vibrant and cozy, ideal for families looking to spend quality time together. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply craving hearty Nicaraguan specialties, this place never disappoints.
After all these years, Selva Negra remains a cherished gem in our community. I can't wait for my next visit to indulge in more of their delicious offerings. **Highly recommend giving this timeless treasure a try, especially for the Pio Quinto!**
