Stopped by Selva Negra for the first time for a to go order. Friends have spoken favorably of this restaurant. I’m on a carnivore diet and ordered a large Carne Asada with Queso Frito ( Fried Cheese). The service was prompt and polite. Since I didn’t want any side other than the cheese they gave me an additional queso frito. They have lots of parking in the rear of the restaurant and the interior area was spacious and clean. The wait was a-bit since they cook fresh to order....

Impressed with authenticity de un restaurante Nicaraguense que refleja la cultura. El personal super atentos a nosotros y en presentar el restaurante y comida. Cacao was 10/10 in regards to taste and presentation was superb - from made in Nicaragua cups. So was the rest of the decor, from Nicaragua representing the country beautifully. La parrilla with different meats were tasty and juicy…chicken was delicious. Love that staff and restaurant are kids friendly. I had one issue...

The food was good. I had the grilled steak which was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. However, the price were a little higher for the portion sizes. It's a nice place for a special occasion but not something I'd do frequently. Service was great and the vibe was chill.
