Tonight I stopped by Serena Rooftop for some drinks and appetizers. We were warmly welcomed by the hostess Martina and the bar staff. Everything was delicious and the music was great. The weather was beautiful. We'll be back.

Today I went to Serena for drinks and Martina very kindly directed us to the bar and recommended the ceviche. The atmosphere was lovely and the music was good. We liked it so much that we'll definitely go back.

Visited Serena Rooftop with a date. Unfortunately, the service fell far short of expectations. After ordering four drinks and appetizers (about $150 before tip), the staff became noticeably dismissive and we were abruptly rushed out immediately after paying.
Given that it was a slow night, the service felt especially unprofessional. The experience didn’t match the price point or the hospitality standard I’m used to. We won’t be returning.

Disappointed in the service. Stopped to get a drink and decide where to next and it took 1.5 hours to have 2 drinks and they brought the check after close. It was not busy. The drinks were okay, not great or anything special to visit. The music was loud but upbeat. We are guests of the hotel and our first night here. It was not busy and we were sat looking at a wall of the hotel windows. It almost felt like we were inconveniencing them. By the time we got the check to leave we decided to just go to bed - which the rooms here also are a huge disappointment. Separate review for that. In short unless it’s your birthday and you want a sparkler just keep going you didn’t miss anything. Oh and rooftop is 2nd floor 🙄

Been here a few times now, I've always just walked in during happy hour and had no problems being seated. I prefer sitting at the bar, but there are lots of tables to accommodate all group sizes. As expected with a rooftop you are subject to the weather of the day. Service has always been great here, your glass is always full. The margs are good and so is the sola pero acomponada (if you like mezcal). For food we had chips and guac, some tacos, and nachos. Didn't particularly like the tartare tacos, but everything else is great!

Our table of eight ordered enough pitchers of margaritas to the point that we were pretty sure we tried all the flavors.
Our server was attentive and kind. Staff were cool with some last minute headcount changes. Though there were some confusion towards the end. NBD TBH
DJ LaTrice (look her up) was dropping atmosphere-appropriate bangers all night long and was an absolute vibe. She needs to DJ every meal I have.
We ordered about a third of their entire menu. Almost everything was very good.
My salmon came out perfectly medium rare with a nice crust.
Portions kind of small for chips, guac, and salsa, eve for nicer establishments like this one.
It’s open air so keep that in mind. They have some fans.
A fire dancer came out mid dinner and was a complete spectacle. She gave attention to all the tables especially ours. Mesmerizing experience.
Keep in mind there is a $60pp minimum. They take a deposit. Our group of 9 hit $1000 all in.

Overall, great atmosphere. Food excellent. Price is a bit over the top but probably in line for Miami.
The place looks beautiful and has a really nice vibe and decoration, but the service was very disappointing. We were told we could only stay for two hours, and they asked us to leave right after that time. On top of that, they don’t allow splitting the check by person, which made things inconvenient. Unfortunately, because of the poor service, I wouldn’t come back

Serena is located on the rooftop of the Moxy Miami South Beach Hotel. Take the elevator to the 2nd floor. It is by the beautiful swimming pool. It is decorated with foliage, palm trees, and flowers. The interior is in colors of burgundy, blues, pinks and darker woods. It looks very inviting. Good music and a good mixed crowd.
We decided to sit by the pool and the server from Serena waited on us. Her name is Fabiola. She seemed quite busy and kept forgetting to bring us our Margaritas and napkins. We had to remind her a couple of times. I can't say that service was the best but we decided to have a good time anyway. We also ordered the Chicken and cheese quesadillas plus guacamole and chips. They were good but the margaritas bothered our digestive systems that evening and the next day. Everything is ok but we would order something different next time we visit.
