We came on 9/14/25, I’m a little behind in posting this review but I didn’t want to pass the opportunity to let you know how we loved our visit. It was an amazing experience overall. The server was very nice and everything he recommended, we got, and loved it. He is right about the churrasco being the best!! We have had this in many many places and nobody compares to the way you cook it here! We loved all of our dishes. Service was outstanding! We will definitely come back when we are in the area. I can’t believe we had not tried you guys before!! Loved it!!

The cashier was rude, the rest of the staff looked unhappy and unpleasant, and on top of it my order wrong after the cashier repeated it back to me three times. She seemed to just want give what she wanted instead of what I asked for and the food was not great. No wonder the line for this place was so short.

I come here almost every day for dinner, I always get a bowl and it is always delicious 🤗. The ladies are always kind and will never let you down, a true taste of Cuban food in such a small corner.

Ooohhh, when I saw Sergio’s on the campus at FIU…!! I said wow this ought to be a real treat because I was reminded of service and taste that I’ve experienced in the past at a full capacity restaurant.However, this satellite location is still a far cry in a dark for what Sergio’s can really offer, and was somewhat disappointed to sample and taste that the portions, flavor, and variety of toppings like a simple portion of tomatoes and lettuce put on a sandwich was just not their. Instead I was given 2 flat pieces of bread and a thin steak and some greasy steak fries sprinkled on top and charges $12 bucks… And I simply could not capture that real experience and flavor of Sergio’s Cuisine… I hope someone is listening and could come up to the standard and increase the portions, and even be conscious of always having lettuce and tomato available for that good old Signature Steak Sandwich that is just too good to pass up….!!! I’m still rooting for you Sergio’s, but work it and bring it home!!!

We sat outside for dinner by the entrance and near the take out window. As soon as the food arrived a lot of flies started descending on our food and could not keep them away. I’d told our waitress that the cause of this problem was because they have an outside metal garbage can that is open air and the flies would be breeding there. The food was ok, no complaints.

My wife ordered dinner to be delivered and ended up returning the order due to a fly half dead on top of the food

The food is typical Cuban food, tasty and fairly good service. However, the parking lot is usually jammed at peak hours. The rest-rooms are in need of cleaning. During my last visit the air blower was not working and there was no paper to dry hands. That part is unacceptable.

This is the worst Cuban restaurant we visited. The food is very bad, the worst quality, very expensive in relation with any good restaurant and very tricky: looks like this people is instructed to denied any claim you have. The WORST. NOT RECOMMENDED.

Prompt and friendly service in a beautiful terrace setting. A delicious full Cuban-American breakfast with both Cuban toast and café con leche and pancakes, eggs and fruit.
Sergio’s in a few words is great food and excellent service by the nicest person I have met Digna. The place has changed for good, is much more cleaner & organized…
