I have been a Sergio’s patron since the original owners on bird road in the1980’s, when the owners where the cooks making there now famous Sergio’s tortilla. This is Pinecrest with multiple successful Cuban /Spanish bakeries & resturanrs- in other words nothing new. The truth is the ham croquettes until recently were some of the best town. But the ones I had today were cold, tasteless, mushy and made of pure flour - horrible!!! Un edible!!! The Beef & spinach empanadas were just as bad, completely tasteless! Not worth the $40- spent on 6 croquets & 4 empanadas. I hope the rest of the menu is better. Also, beware of extremely slippery floors.

My personal experience at Sergio’s pinecrest is one of the best of my 35 plus years in the miami city of the Cuban roots culinary tradition. I would like to mention the exceptional atención of the very knowledgeable staff like Elizabeth and the special service of the very kind of Abel a very professional chef who we’ll recommend a particular plate of he’s own personal recipe. Honestly I will recommend it to all my friends and family to come here to taste the best of the Cuban food.. Thanks so much to Sergio’s management for haven’t a brilliant staff..
Rachel, our waitress, was phenomenal extremely attentive. The food was delicious; we will definitely come back and of course ask for Rachel. The décor was beautiful and will surely be a success restaurant. Prices were very reasonable. A delightful afternoon we would happily repeat.God Bless
