After several times visiting here, I feel the food quality here is above average comparing to other buffet, especially for the sashimi. I would say that the fish is really fresh but not in the high quality. But this is buffet, I don't expect we can get really high quality sashimi here. Maybe because it has many seafood, it is a little pricey. However, the options for other else are somehow less than some lower price buffet. The soup is on the average. Sometimes the cakes are a bit dry.

Always a great time at Shinju! Love the variety of seafood, sushi, hibachi, regular dishes and desserts. It is a buffet, so don't expect the most amazing food you've ever had. But for the price, this place has everyone else beat. For dinner, they change the options a little like crab legs, the most amazing Korean BBQ ribs, and sweet buns (kind of like Japanese milk buns). It's also obviously a bit more expensive than the lunch. The owners are super nice, and their service is always on point. If I lived closer, I would be in trouble from how often I would eat there. It gets very full sometimes, and they close after lunch to prepare for dinner, so call in ahead of time to make sure there's space. Definitely would reccomend to try it out for yourself at least once.
