The worst place I have ever been in Miami. Food was extremely horrible, no taste, the gravy in the smashed potato taste nasty. The french fries tasted like the have been in the fridge for months, and the ribs werw old, dry and grey colored. They should close down this place forever. The bathroom very dirty. The waitress very rude. Horrible experience. We did not even finish out food. Real nasty.

Pretty good place. Chicken was tasty, and the ribs were pretty good. Not fall off the bone style, still had some chew to them. Service wasn't the most attentive or friendly, but definitely not rude.

My first time in this restaurant, the atmosphere was amazing .The server was excellent . The food was delicious, I ordered pulled pork, baked beans, and corn on the cob. My pulled pork was moist and full of flavor. I don't need the barbecue sauce.

Loved the rib special for two. Waitress was wonderful. Food was not swimming in sauce. Even brought some lemon water to clean the fingers. If I lived closer, I would be there regularly.

They definitely do NOT deserve a single star, to begin with, I totally placed an order that was not cheap at all, however the food arrived raw, the ribs were cold and looked like they were boiled in water, the potatoes were super cold, I called to complain about my order but a very rude woman did not want to communicate with the manager in the end I spoke to him! Julián, who is the supposed manager, seemed not to care about customer service either, it's a shame because they have a job and they don't even value their own efforts to earn money by taking care of their clients. PAINFUL and totally DISGUSTING, the attitude and the FOOD is a shame. throw the food in the trash but this time, they lost respect for the customer, the quality and above all, they themselves do not appreciate that they have to take care of their work.

Ordered thru Uber, worse order i have ever had, apperently they ran out of HICKORY WOOD and steamed cooks there Worlds Best Shortys BBQ ribs. Its your worse nightmare, called store to talk to manager was told he could talk because he was talking to a table, waited 15.min and still he was talking to the table, he never made it to the call, lets not talk about undercooked hamburger for a child.
We only get down to Miami area about once a year but we always stop at Shorty's. Great BBQ restaurant. Pulled pork, baked beans and cornbread are all excellent.
