Smith & Webster is an absolute gem! From the moment we walked in, the hospitality was warm and welcoming. James, the chef, outdid himself – every dish was packed with flavor, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. You can tell he takes pride in his craft.

Our servers, Freddy and Deja, made the experience even better. They were attentive, friendly, and made us feel right at home without ever being overbearing. The balance of great food, inviting atmosphere, and top-tier service made our visit unforgettable.

We’ll definitely be coming back — Smith & Webster has earned a spot on our favorites list!

Deja was an amazing waitress and James also made sure we was satisfied with the food and service. Freddy the chef made sure everything taste perfect, also we seen local celebrities.

Jada was our server and James was def helping on the floor as well. Freddy was back there in the kitchen chef’n it up and we appreciate the whole staff. I’m from the H (Houston) and this has been the first place that actually tastes like home. Drinks weren’t too strong or too weak-just riiiiight. Also Mr Webster came to our table, so that was nice too. Thank yall!

Just had a tongue-teasing, belly-filling and mind comforting brunch meal with a friend. The spinach dip, oxtail omelette, lamb and eggs were excellent. Also the sigh-satisfying grits and biscuit. Thank you management, chefs and servers especially Wendy for an awesome experience.

Yoooooo…. James, JADA & Chef Freddy was everything. This food was so dang in good. The vibe is there. The music is there. Get there… Run there… grown and sexy it the vibe. We had the crab cakes , oyster Rock as a meal and the catfish bowl… chefs 💋

Came to Smith & Webster for brunch celebrating my sister birthday and I must say this place is a beautiful, relaxing spot with AMAZING food and warm service. Lizzie took great care of us, and James was also very kind checking in to make sure we were enjoying everything. The atmosphere is inviting, everyone is pleasant, and the whole experience was a perfect 10/10. The entire staff here was so kind.

I had an amazing experience at Smith x Webster thanks to Deja and Chris! From the moment I arrived, Deja greeted me with such warmth and professionalism—she made me feel genuinely welcome and ensured I was comfortable the entire time. Chris was equally outstanding, providing attentive and friendly service that went above and beyond.

Both of them worked seamlessly together to make the experience memorable, from their attentiveness to the little details to their upbeat and positive energy. You can tell they truly care about their guests and take pride in what they do.

If you’re visiting Smith x Webster, I highly recommend asking for Deja and Chris—you’ll be in the best hands!

If you want the authentic soulful flavors of your mother’s best cuisine come here. Ask for Haibian, she will serve you as royalty. The manager James is always available, but it is never necessary

Jasmine, James, Freddy with the cheffing skills are amazing. This my third time here and I must admit , I’ll be back again. Something about music , vibes, and food always get to me. Can’t wait for that turkey leg on the cornbread back on the menu, til then I’ll settle for those amazing lamp chops with cornbread on the side. If u looking for some soul food … good food, good vibes, date, birthday vibes come here.109% great!
