Sofia Italian Restaurant Miami

Food was great always great, our waitress wasn't super lovely. He was normal wish he could've been a little sweeter he was barely at our table, we had to ask him for water because he kept passing by us and not paying attention but other than that the place was amazing I've been there plenty times !

My reservation is four 4 people but I arrive with 2 and they Tell me that I do not have a sit! I explain that 2 more is coming ... It is not necessary... A sound of DJ is not confortable...

The food was amazing. This is my second time there in less than a month. Sal our waiter made the whole experience that much better. Great service, food and drinks.

This place was wonderful! It is upscale but the chef tasting menu was well worth the price! The truffle infused cream sauces was one of the best sauces I've ever had. The ambiance was fun and it was a great place to celebrate a birthday! I highly recommend trying this place if you're looking to go somewhere nice.

New favorite spot! Our entire evening at Sofia (11/2/25) was amazing, starting from the moment we arrived all the way to the moment we left. The food was DELISH, loved their brunch options, great value, and loved how it goes til 5pm. They were extremely accommodating to every request, were incelredibly friendly, and went above and beyond. Our server, Nico, even ran after us as we were leaving to check if it had begun raining and then handed us a large umbrella on the house. Love love love this place, thank you to everyone at Sofia 💕

Everything was perfect. The food, the vibe, the service, the design... is it on the pricy end? Absolutely. Is it worth it? 100%. Thank you for a wonderful night!

Celebrated a friend's birthday here. The aesthetic was gorgeous. Food was on point. Would definetely be back

Went to Sophia in the Design District yesterday and honestly, the experience was disappointing — especially for a restaurant at this price point. The place was almost empty, yet the service felt inattentive and rushed. What really left a bad taste was the tipping situation. A 20% service charge is automatically added, but then when it's time to pay, the waiter tells you that the 20% is “shared” and that anything you add on the handheld screen is for them personally. It's uncomfortable and awkward — especially when they're standing right over you while you're trying to decide what to do. At a place with such high markups and an already-included service charge, this kind of upselling should not be happening. The whole experience just felt off and not up to the standards the Design District (or Sophia's prices) suggest.

Sofia delivers on every level: food, service, and atmosphere. I'll definitely be coming back and recommending it to friends and family! Food was absolutely delicious!

Food and service was superb! Manager, server and all staff make u feel welcome! Only comment: music was a little loud when restaurant was not full (4p).

We sat inside. This is our second visit. The Ac doesnt work. For the second time its so hot in the space couldn't wait to eat and leave.

The manager was very accommodating with menu items. Our server was excellent and very attentive. Food was delicious and flavorful with very nice presentation.

Food was very good!! Had the Miami Spice menu. The portions were surprisingly large. Pasta was dellicious!!
