Disclaimer: I am not the audience for ordering food and picking it up from a box without interacting with human beings. I'm not there yet. So although I'd heard of Soulfly, I wasn't particularly interested in visiting. Nevertheless, was celebrating my mom's birthday and the birthday girl wanted to come here after our wine tasting next door.
I'm glad the experience was not as impersonal as I anticipated. Partly because I just didn't feel like sticking to the script but also I couldn't get that doggone pickup situation together. LOL I had so many issues with the code to retrieve my order, it was seriously comical. I did observe others come in, put in the code, get the food and go though.
You do have to order on the kiosk but I was able to ask the manager if I could order it like this or that, which he happily made note of for my particular order. There was a little wait for having ordered onsite - things would have felt quicker had I ordered online from offsite then stopped in to pickup when notified the order was ready. I had the wings and cajun rice. Now what surprised me was that chicken! Ok, Soulfly! Very nicely seasoned, good crisp on the outside and juicy on the inside. I was impressed considering my expectations. It reminded me of those good chinese takeout chicken wings. Nice surprise. The cajun rice was just okay for me.
The challenges to me coming back are that the price is just high for what you get. I understand there is a cost for "convenience" so it is what it is. However adding $6.54 to the order when I had to do the work to place it then pick it up is.... I don't and won't mind continuing to do things the old school way to pay a more reasonable price for fried chicken in other nearby neighborhoods. Also, no "convenient" parking. I feel like this spot is more geared towards people strolling on the street or for food delivery drivers who will be on a moped only.
Overall for the chicken and helpfulness of the onsite staff, I give it a 3.5, not just a 3.

Wow. I ordered from UberEats. Initially what I ordered was not in stock (I ordered pretty late) but I quickly got a call and they went over and above to make sure I was happy. The chicken wings were so crispy and flavorful. The collard greens and waffle fries were very good. I can't recommend this place more. Excellent food and customer service. I can't wait to try more dishes.

This is OMG, delicious fried chicken. I ordered two whole chickens with the Mac for a dinner party. Everyone brought a dish and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. I can’t comment about the atmosphere but Simon who delivered our food was sweet and just a happy fellow. I will definitely order again. Don’t pass on this gem.

Great service. But highly disappointed in the food. The breading on the chicken tenders was terrible. Ordered two with different flavors to try it.
I ordered bird on the run ( medium heat ) with waffle fries and they were good, I asked for tap water but don’t have any. There were only 4 tables and You order by yourself and pick your order through little windows on the wall with your name on it. It was good experience

This is my first time here and I'm happy I tried it. There is a lot if tech crammed into this small business. This was also huge sandwich. The salt content of the sandwich was low, but the waffle fries were a lil salty, that complimented the tangyness of the sandwich. The Service was great too. It's a crime that they don't have fried chicken n waffles.

Love the low friction, automated ordering and food pickup. But if your phone dies you'll have a problem.
The chicken is crispy crunchy and GOOD! The dirty rice is very flavorful and a meal by itself. Drink offerings could be better but what they have is standard fare offered in almost every other restaurant.
This is a takeout place. There are a couple of snack tray like tables but probably not a place you'll want to eat in. Plan on taking it to go, find a good park bench and enjoy this very fine fried chicken!

I thought nothing of it and went to this store with my wife. Ordered food on the display and waited about 6 minutes and our food was already there. And this meal...was truly amazing. This 4.0 star rating is not justified, it should be a bald 5.0 rating. The tenders are extremely juicy and tasty. The citizen is juicy and with the salad a real feeling of freshness. And the mac and cheese was very cheesy and delicious However, the sharpness should not be underestimated For anyone who isn't sure if they should eat here... DO IT, IT'S WORTH IT. If I'm ever in Miami again, I'd love to come back!
