“Excellent food, right portions.“

“We came here on a rainy Sunday afternoon. The restaurant had plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. We opted for sitting at the bar and the bartender was super friendly and he did give us good recommendations for tapas and drinks. We were pleasantly surprised to find out that they do half off all wine bottles on Sunday, and we went with a sparking. We ordered some great dishes. The Heirloom tomatoes, the focaccia bread (stellar choice) and the delice de Bourgogne (a must try if you like creamy buttery cheeses), the mussels (great sauce), the salmon a la plancha (nicely cooked, honestly my favorite dish of the night) and a half portion Paella Mariscos. All in all, the Barcelona delivers on both the food, and the vibe. We will definitely come back.“

“Second time at Xixon! Life show was above and beyond. Great musicians, excellent repertory and the atmosphere was amazing. Everyone loved the food. It was a busy night that’s probably why we had a long wait to be served and order wasn’t complete. We never got the salt and dressing for the salad but we could understand. The only thing I was a little confused was there’s a fee per person for the show, it should be advised in advance but I am ok with that as well because as I said musicians are amazing but I didn’t understand so much the service fee of $101.00 we were charged. Was it the tip or another extra charge which is coming out of the blue? Not complaining just wanted to understand things a little better. It was a great night though.“

If you are a vegetarian then you can go for Chole masala with kasmiri naan. And if non-vegetarian then our indian mostly loved dish biryani or tandoori masala you can have. “My recent visit to El Rincon Asturiano was an absolute delight, truly a fantastic find for authentic Spanish cuisine! From the moment I stepped inside, I was enveloped by genuine, traditional Spanish vibes. It’s clear this isn't one of those new, overly modern places; instead, it offers a truly authentic atmosphere that makes you feel like you've been transported to Spain.

The food was simply outstanding. As someone who appreciates real Spanish flavors, I can confidently say this is the most authentic Spanish restaurant I've found. The portions were incredibly generous, and every dish was prepared with care. I had the seafood rice, which was packed with flavor and so substantial I struggled to finish it – in the best way possible! The fact that the shrimp were perfectly cleaned speaks volumes about their attention to detail. I also heard great things about the fabada with oxtail and the veal escalopines with Cabrales cheese, which I'm eager to try on my next visit.

The staff were incredibly helpful and provided excellent service throughout my meal. Their attentiveness truly enhanced the dining experience. While the prices are a bit on the higher side, especially for seafood dishes, the quality, authenticity, and generous portions make it entirely worth it. The only minor point is the lack of a full liquor license, but the excellent wine and beer selection still complements the meal perfectly. El Rincon Asturiano is a must-visit for anyone craving a truly authentic and delicious Spanish meal with fantastic service and a wonderful atmosphere.“

We also shared the Spanish tabla, which was a fantastic selection of cured meats and cheeses, offering an authentic taste of Spain.
