Food was great!!

It took almost an hour for a personal spinach pizza. Then once I got home and looked inside the container, it was a chicken leg quarter inside. I don't even remember seeing that on the menu. Then to top it off, the fries they gave me were cold and hard. This was probably the worst dining experience I've ever had and I don't usually even write reviews. Stay away!!

I don’t know how this place still in businesses. Save yourself time and patience and go somewhere else. The lady who answered the phone shouldn’t be working with public, she’s very, very rude, far from any professionalism, she hang up at my husband when he was asking how long the order would take to be delivered and after 45 min waiting for our food (2 small pizzas) I called a second time and she was even more rude when I ask how much longer for our food and she’s started shouting at me with her nasty tone saying “ I don’t know how much longer… could be 2 min or 15 you can cancel the order of you want”.The delivery guy arrived 10 min after the phone call.We only call this place bc someone at the hotel recommended and we arrived so late at night and we were starving. Our bill was $39 for two small pizzas. Not even worth the price!

I ordered pizza and pasta to Special Pizza Gourmet in Christmas Eve around 10pm, the day before I went to Cruise. The hotel, holiday inn Miami Airport east, gave me the menu. The prices were not bad. I called and the staff was very nice. She said it would take 30 min to deliver. The guy arrived almost on time. The taste is good. I couldn't find any negative point.

We recently ordered from this spizza restaurant and I would like to share my review. Overall, I would give it 3 stars. While the food was good and the Eggplant Parmesan was particularly tasty, there were a few aspects that could be improved. Firstly, the wait time for the food was quite long, lasting about an hour. This was a bit disappointing. The pizzas, on the other hand, were not consistent. While one of them was prepared perfectly the second one was a bit saggy and didn't meet my expectations. It would be great if the consistency of the pizzas could be improved. Despite these areas for improvement, the food was tasteful.

It took over an hour to get our food. We ordered at 3:12pm, not exactly rush hour. The pizza and onion rings were cold. We did not get the marinara sauce we ordered. The Italian sub had only ham , no other meats and no Italian dressing. There is a $3 fee to use a credit card. The tax and delivery fee was $11. Our $26 worth of food came to $40. If I could give negative stars, I would.

Horrible customer service! Woman that takes orders has the worst attitude I’ve ever seen. I told her I will not be coming back and she replies good, I don’t need customers like you. I wish I would have videotaped her. Obviously, not right in the head. Do not waste your money here for mediocre food.

Do Not waste your time and money. Customer service is horrible and the food is terrible! Delivery took 1 1/2 hr. Our pizza & calzone pizza were cold and nasty. Don’t know what type of cheese they use, but it was disgusting. The cheese on the pizza tasted frozen.

Horrible! The pizza was cold in the middle and falling apart when it arrived! The garlic bread was literally dinner rolls with garlic and butter! Not good!!!

The woman that takes the orders is less than professional - and with what sounded like a TV blaring next to her, it was hard to hear but after getting over that negative experience, the rest wasn’t really that bad. Delivery came on time from a relatively friendly driver and although the food was average, we didn’t expect much more than that at 10:00pm on a Monday night right next to Miami International. They’ve found their niche with hotels (as I’ve read in many reviews) - sure serves a purpose for the weary traveler. PS I think we were charged about $8 for delivery - they don’t give any breakdown and only accept cash upon delivery.

Love the pizza was cheesy just as I like it. And the mozzarella sticks are to die for. I recommend it.

Just awful... I asked the front desk at the hotel for a recommendation for delivery and they gave me special pizza gourmet. The delivery was 20 minutes late totaling an hour and 20 minutes and they only accept cash. The food was awful. The chicken noodle soup was from out of a can and the ravioli was chef boyardee. They forgot the ranch for the chicken tenders and the marinara for the calamari. I called them right away and they told me it would be 20 minutes before we would get it. I then asked them to resend a new order of chicken tenders and calamari and they wanted to charge me for it. I told them forgetting the marinara and the ranch was not my error, it was theirs and they hung up on me. Went to bed thinking they were not coming and arrived about 25 minutes later and brought chicken tenders and ranch packets along with marinara but no calamari. Overpriced, horrible customer service, and awful food. I let the front desk know, so hopefully anyone else staying at the Best Western Miami airport North will not have the same experience.

Honestly, I didn't know you could mess up pizza this bad. It was absolutely terrible. Would never order from here again. The worst part is that I was walking back to my room with it and someone stopped to ask me where this place was so I told them.... Little did I know I was setting them up for an atrocious meal. If I could give this place a zero, HECK, even a negative 5, I would.

I guess this place is "special" like the olympics. Sorry, that was a cheap dig, and the pizza was not awful. I found myself in a somewhat sketchy hotel in an even sketchier neighborhood. The lady at the front desk handed me a flyer for this pizza place when I checked in. I tried to walk at night to a nearby restaurant, but quickly realized ordering a pizza was a safer option. I called and ordered a large 2 topping pizza. After she added the tax and "delivery fee" it cost nearly 27 bucks. The pizza did arrive well within the 40 minute window, and it wasn't terrible pizza. Thoroughly average in quality. In the end, it filled me up, and I didn't have to risk getting stabbed to get it.If you are ordering from here, it is because you don't have a better choice. This place knows that and capitalizes on it. Sometimes life is about cutting losses and managing expectations... this was one of those times. All in all, I don't regret my decision to order from this place, but I am not in a hurry to do it again.
