This place is always closed. It's so frustrating. I've lived near by for 2 years and I've only been able to eat here once. Another time it let me place an online order and it took an hour for the app to realize they were closed. But I will say the one time I ate here it was really good. Just frustrating.

Found this place on and it exceeded expectations. We were overwhelmed by the choice but the server gave us recommendations and they were spot on. The sandwiches are huge and absolutely delicious, the one with Italian way and Detour was so delicious and really good, Place was simply amazing. It's only a small place, but wasn't busy and no wait when we arrived. Will recommend this place.

The best sub shop in the dadeland, Pinecrest, South Miami area IMO. The hot subs are amazing. Soft bread, fresh veggies and excellent meats. The owner is super friendly and always does whatever he can to make your sandwich the way you want it.

I have been meaning to review this place for a long time now. The Subs here are AMAZING with an owner who really cares. I agree with other reviewers here, Subs 88 is not much to look at, but let's face it, you are here to scarf down sandwiches or take it back to the office. I've had all the hot subs, never been disappointed. Don't be surprised if the owner comes around the counter to offer you a cafecito on the house. The Kendall Clucker is our favorite, 10 times better than Chick-Fil-A or Popeye's. The steak sub is outstanding, the quality of the meat is well beyond what you would expect in a sandwich. I wish they opened Sundays, because that's usually when I crave subs. But I get it, it's more of a weekday lunch place that has put Hungry Bear to shame. The folks here are super nice and care a great deal about your order. After something like 20 visits, I've never had an issue.

Doesn't look like much but when you walk in and order a sub. Amazing! They have great subs even specialty subs! If you're in the Kendal area you have to stop by and get a sub. The owner Andrew is always nice and will great you at the door! Definitely a need to eat place.
This place is amazing! Small hole in the wall type place where the owner gets you as soon as you walk in. The food was delicious. We had a steaks sub with bacon and a chicken sub with bacon, both were outstanding. The owner was friendly and had great customer service to top it off. I think the best compliment I can give this place is that we will go out of our way to come back to this place again.

Update to my previous rating ... have now been back to Sub88 on several occasions, in which my orders are always accurate you can taste the quality and care that it’s put in to every order. Service is phenomenal. Excellent job.. keep it up!

Hole in the wall place located right on Kendall drive. Wasn't expecting a whole lot and got a really good sandwich. I had the buffalo chicken super tasty.

Great food and service . 2 year customer ! Not much of a salid person myself how ever the chicken salid is great . Other favorites : burger n fries / hot dogs / turkey & cheese w bacon + avocado.

Great first impression! The owner was super cool and guided me thru the menu. Ended up going for a Detour (turkey and ham) and I'm so glad I got it with the 88 sauce! I'll def be back soon to try more. I'm coming for that philly.
