I’ve stopped by this location a handful of times now, and honestly, every visit feels like a coin toss. Some days things go smoothly, and other days you walk out wondering why you bothered stopping at all. It’s really one of those hit-or-miss places.
The good first:
The store looks pretty clean most of the time, and the downtown location is convenient if you’re already in the area running errands. When the right staff is on shift, the service can actually be decent.
I’ve had one or two employees who were friendly, patient, and moved things along as best as they could. And when the food is fresh, the subs are exactly what you’d expect nothing fancy, but good enough for a quick bite.
But here’s where the place loses me: the service is wildly inconsistent. There are days when the employees look completely checked out, chatting among themselves while customers stand waiting at the counter. I get that fast food can be stressful, but sometimes the attitude is just unnecessary.
I’ve also had a couple of moments where I had to repeat my order multiple times because the person making the sandwich just wasn’t paying attention.
Another issue is the closing hours they really need to update the times or stick to what’s posted. A few times I’ve arrived well before closing, only to find the doors locked or the employees already cleaning up and refusing to take an order. It’s frustrating, especially when you walk there thinking you’ll grab something quick.
Food availability is also inconsistent. One visit they told me they were out of tomatoes, another time out of a specific bread, and once the cookies tasted like they’d been sitting out for days. It’s pretty obvious when something hasn’t been rotated or baked fresh.
Overall, I keep hoping the place will improve because the location is convenient, but it feels like management really needs to step up better training, better communication, and just a bit more pride in the service. I wouldn’t say “never go,” but definitely go knowing your experience might depend on who’s working that day.
If they could just tighten up the service and stick to their posted hours, this spot could easily be a reliable go-to. For now, it’s a solid “it’ll do if you’re nearby,” but not somewhere I’d go out of my way for.

Service was good, the workers had a language barrier but that didn't stop them. My sandwich was prepared beautiful.

The customer service in this location is absolute trash and downright disrespectful. The employees stand around talking instead of helping the customers (even when they have a line). They give you attitude just because they have to work. Several times I’ve gone in for a pickup order and they’ve LIED to my face telling me it’s not ready when it’s very visibly right behind them waiting on the counter with my name on it and everything. I ordered online for pickup and they gave me the items in a regular bag (which is hard to carry all the way to my job) and when I asked the worker if they could give me the other bag with handles, she says they don’t have any (which again A CLEAR LIE) since I could see the bags right by the counter and several other pickup orders were given in those bags. I had to explain to the cashier how to do her job because she did not know how to scan the subway app for points and she proceeds to give me attitude for it. They’re always rolling their eyes at people and acting annoyed when a customer doesn’t speak Spanish. I myself happen to know Spanish and have heard them trash talk other customers for not understanding them. Fire these horrible people who clearly don’t want to work there and give the opportunity to others who will at the very least, TRY to be nice instead of being rude and disrespectful. This is not the first time I’ve had a bad experience at this location and it’s a shame because it’s the nearest one to my college.

UNPROFESSIONAL. I AM SORRY BUT I WORKED IN SUBWAY WHEN I WAS IN COLLEGE SO I KNOW HOW IT IS. WHAT I HAVE WITNESSED HERE MAKES ME SICK TO MY STOMACH. IF YOU HATE YOUR JOB JUST QUIT. CASHIER STANDING AROUND CHEWING HER CHIPS WHILE ATTENDING TO ME. SHE WASNT RUDE TO ME BUT SOMEONE ELSE ASKING A QUESTION THE CASHIER WAS EXTREMELY RUDE MIND YOU THIS WAS AN OLDER PERSON WHO DIDNT HEAR HER. MADE HER FEEL RIDICULOUS. SO IF MANAGEMENT CARES AT ALL ABOUT THEIR BUSINESS WATCH/TRAIN/COACH YOUR TEAM TO BE BETTER. TODAY AT 1:55PM. BLACK HAIR.
