This was such a great dining experience. The food was amazing, the people were inviting, and the soju was incredible. Davi, the waiter, was particularly thoughtful, making sure we knew how to cook the food and that we were having a good time. The meats were delicious, especially the marinated ones. Cant wait to go back again!

Our next family food adventure takes us to Sushi Cafe & Shilla Korean BBQ located in Miami with a rating of 4.3 and over 1,177 reviews, this restaurant offers you South Korean cuisine. We go with a group of 37 people, but they are not prepared for that amount of customers. It took us a while to eat, but it was worth the wait, each dish was better than the next with the different flavors to delight in.
The customer service was excellent, the only thing was that there were too many orders at the same time, but when the food arrived we all forgot about the delay for one simple reason: everything was delicious and incredibly exquisite.
This is place is very recommended if you like Korean cuisine.
I want to say thanks to the chef for this incredible experience.

Host and waiters were very nice and accommodating. Food was delicious, especially the kimchi. The environment is very calm and welcoming.

I normally don’t give bad reviews and the waiter was great and super nice however the food took forever to come out and was honestly some of the worst Korean I’ve ever had.

I have been three times now and really enjoy this spot. The restaurant is very clean, has a pretty interior, and is well-priced. Our plates were plentiful and we ended up taking food home. Very delicious food, I prefered ordering the noodles or other prepared dishes over using the grill (portions are better that way) although it's nice they have that option which some will enjoy. The server was very attentive and kind, routinely passing by our table. They were extremely gracious enough to give us a free dessert when they found out it was my girlfriend's birthday our second time there. Very worthwhile place to eat at.

Ever had such a bad experience at a restaurant it makes you download yelp?

to begin with, the server forgot he kept our meat in the cart and started leaving with it … we were like wait please 😭😭 they brought out burnt oil, i’m so serious . attaching picture below. Burnt oil ….. didn’t bring a fork when we asked for one didn’t bring the vegetable fried rice we asked for (might i add we were the only two people in this entire restaurant). we had to ask for garlic, as some of the meat had no marinade and no marinade options were really given.

we got combo #2, which is supposed to come with three rices but we only got two, didn’t even ask for the third as the rice was kinda dry and cold.

The pork belly literally smelled like butt im so serious, i brought it up to my face with excitement after finally figuring out how to turn up the heat myself since our server was no where to be found even though we were, again, the only people !!! wooo!!!
but i was so hungry, i decided to take a bite anyway as the raw meat didn’t smell? it tasted like it was actually way past bad, i spit it out.

not even sure if to keep going, with a whopping price tag of $94 with what was literally worth probably like $25 in just the meat, i’ve never been so disappointed in my life.

the skirt steak was mostly bones, i even attached a photo of all of the food that was literally inedible.

I have been here twice now, mostly because Korean barbecue is so hard to come by in Miami, and both times it has just been so disappointing. The service is sluggish is an understatement. They don’t help you cook the way they do at a normal Korean barbecue. They also are super stingy on the banchan (side dishes). And what side dishes do come out are honestly terrible. I had what I can only describe as stale gray kimchi. Also, the entire place is covered in some evangelical Christian decor. Not really a problem necessarily but just a little bit off putting especially if you’re not into that. The biggest problem is just the food is terrible.

The staff are friendly and helpful, one of them gave us tips on how to get the perfect level of doneness on some of the cuts! The marinade that they use, especially on the Bulgogi, was quite tasty. Their sashimi is good as well, would recommend as an appetizer! Will definitely be coming back again!!
