Miso soup was a little cold, and the sushi dinner was only a couple types of fish, wish it offered more of the menu. The rolls were great and the fried rice was delicious!

Disappointing experience. They only gave two people one menu to share, which was already strange. Plates weren’t properly cleaned and even had greasy fingerprints on them. The shredded carrots and lettuce used as sushi garnish were dehydrated and wilted — either not fresh or being reused.
On top of that, they still automatically expect a minimum 20% tip for this level of service. Would not recommend.

On my first visit to this location after an event at the Kaseya Center, the experience was unfortunately below expectations. Upon arrival, the host immediately mentioned a private event and seemed discouraging about the wait time. However, I had already observed several tables simply waiting to pay, and a couple who arrived before me was seated while I briefly stepped away. Given this, it was unclear why an accurate wait time could not be communicated.
During my wait, I also observed a man who appeared to be a manager inform a server that a table was about to leave without paying due to how long they had been waiting to check out. Instead of assisting directly, he stepped back, which gave the impression that staff support and oversight were lacking.
After being seated, no one approached our table for about ten minutes, not even to offer water, so I had to request assistance. When the food finally arrived, it was disappointing to find that my meal was cold and clearly not freshly prepared. When I shared this feedback with the server, she appeared unfazed and simply walked away. Later, after asking for the bill, we waited an additional ten minutes before having to flag her down again because it seemed the request had been ignored.
To make matters worse, a 20% gratuity was automatically added to the bill, despite the service falling far short of that standard. Having visited other Sushi Sake locations, this experience was by far the most disappointing. Based on this visit, I do not plan to return to this location.

Honestly really want to love it because other sushi sake’s are usually great but I’ve ordered two meals from here now with bad food, one ginger salad with the ginger dressing gone bad and ramen with the seaweed gone bad as well as strong formaldehyde smelling noodles. Not hygienic. Pictured is their ramen bowl.
I give all 5 because Edwin made our night while we were waiting for out server that took a little to come take our order! The food is good, the restaurant is pretty and Edwin was the best! Our server was super nice too but I really wish that Edwin would serve us. He had knowledge of what we were asking but he county take the order, since he could not serve us he was very nice and on top of the service while the server came to the table. No complains for the server, I just want to recognize that it was a team that made our experience nice!

The place looks good on the pics and in reality. But the restroom is dirty, the faucet in the restroom needs replacement , it’s so dirty that you don’t want to touch it.
The rolls contain too much of sugar, too much.
It’s ok for rice to have sugar BUT not THAT much.
As for the ramen - it’s tasty, but it’s not classics Japanese. The broth is tasty but not the Japanese style, more typical American. With big chunks of ingredients. Was supposed to find almost the whole zucchini in my ramen.
The music was super loud and disturbing.
The water has a scent of ray or smth that shouldn’t be in the water. Needs improvement
In general - it’s ok place to visit once. But will not return.

Honestly, the worst Sushi Sake location. Ordered the fried rice and it was the dryest and whitest fried rice I’ve ever had.

Asked for a glass of water while looking at the menu and this has to be the worst tap water I've ever had in a restaurant. Enough to take your appetite away. Food was average and if they use the same water for cooking, this is likely affecting their food quality. Had to order a bottle of sparkling water to get by. For the price of their menu, the least they can do is give you a decent glass of water. Music was high enough where I had problems listening to the servers or the person a cross the table. This takes away from enjoying the environment with your party.

I ordered the Hibachi Salmon and it was sooo good! I love salmon rare and it’s hard to find places that actually do takeout cooked that way - I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious it tasted. The portion size was generous and the fried rice that came with the salmon was also delicious! I had just finished a long run and was starving so this was the perfect first meal of the day. The miso soup paired nicely with the dish and I was already full after finishing the salmon alone. The only thing I’d add is a few more veggies particularly leafy greens but other than that I absolutely loved it - really nourishing and satisfying!🙂

I love you Sushi Sake! A local’s fan favorite. I love bringing friends & family. The fire places outdoor are such a nice added touch when it gets chilly during that one cold week in Miami lol. I’d say Sushi Sake is great for an occasion: date-night, parents with little ones, or even for a birthday party. What is Special about? Sushi sake is that the prices are justified by the food quality. Also, they have one of the most expansive sushi and sashimi menus in Miami. Everyone comes here, especially if they’re gonna go to The Miami Heat Arena, before or after a game of concert. The waiters and waitresses are always so friendly and attentive. Keep up the good work!!
