I'm not a big sushi person, but my husband is and he enjoyed it. However, the bartender quit right as we got there so we couldn't try any drinks, which was a bummer. It was a little pricey, but overall would recommend if you're in the area and you like sushi!

Worst experience and customer service WHILE the owner was there. I barely got a greeting at the door and when I did it was very poorly, I was waiting to take my to go order for over 10 minutes and sat there while the workers surrounded the bar to talk amongst themselves including the owner! I’m sorry, but am I invisible? I watched as other customers came in AFTER me and were greeted and serviced immediately. They stood there and watched me but never attended me. So when a server finally came to take my order, which made me feel like it was a burden, I waited over 30 minutes for them to get the order wrong and one small ramekin of yum yum sauce when I had 5 items. I ended up paying $5.37 for an extra four small ramekins. I asked for my order to be corrected, and another worker walks outside to where now the owner is located. Everyone’s face and demeanor made me uncomfortable as I already felt no one wanted to service me in the first place. Since obviously it was such a burden to get what I actually wanted and paid for I decided to leave and thought that was the best choice. Besides, I don’t have another 30 minutes to wait. I called back the restaurant to ask for cooperates number and I got attitude over the phone instead of the number I asked for. I was instead asked for my order number which shouldn’t matter as I called for cooperates number and the worker, who’s apparently the manager and told me she has no name, hung up on me 3 times. The last time I called, the owner answers and has the audacity to tell me I should’ve been more patient so he could’ve given me my money back. No one was asking for their money back, once again I was asking for cooperates number, which I still haven’t received. I asked for the name of the “manager” who answered the phone the first 3 times and hung up on me, and the owner says he doesn’t have managers but instead shift leaders. I then ask for the shift leaders name, the owner then tells me he doesn’t have shift leaders. I proceed to ask the owner for cooperates number and he says and I quote “I don’t know why you need the number, they aren’t going to do anything” and gives me the number moments after which happens to be the sushi sake in Doral. All across the board, the experience was appalling. I will not be back and I recommend you drive the extra mile to the next location. Terrible experience. I have worked in many restaurants in the span of 9 years and not even on my worse day treat my customers the way I was treated today. Cutler Bay location!

This place is honestly horrible, had a terrible experience when we ordered by uber. Their chicken katsu is $20, i’ve ordered this plate from sushi sake before and it’s been a really good meal, but it seems they changed their chicken to chick-fil-a sized chicken nuggets and give you a whopping 5 nuggets… we ordered two plates, one had 5 and the other had 6, so clearly it’s not a measured thing. I called the restaurant asking what was going on, and asking if they could replace it or give me a refund, i specifically asked for a manager. I was told a few different stories about how they don’t have a manager or supervisor in the store, then i was told to hold for the manager, and then again i was told that the manager went out for a delivery (in that order, i was put on hold for a few minutes in between excuses). I even offered to go into the restaurant to get my replacement meal and was told that because there wasn’t a manager (how does a restaurant not have a manager or supervisor) they couldn’t help me AT ALL. I ended up going into the restaurant myself and took back my food and was actually able to talk to a manager, who was very apologetic (not about the situation but about the food) and explained that they were “cutting the chicken pieces differently”, when it’s clearly less chicken. After waiting an additional 15 minutes, the manager came back with extra pieces of chicken. I totally understand if the restaurant simply wants to be overpriced and charge $20 for 5 chicken nuggets but in that case, offer me a refund, don’t make me have to call the restaurant twice and hear three different excuses about why i can’t be helped. Please do yourself a favor and drive a few more miles to the Weschester location, it’ll be a much much better experience and you won’t have to deal with the horrible customer service the staff at this location offers.

This location is a circus! Very unprofessional. I sat down at a table and waited for 12 minutes. During the wait you hear a Spanish lady with a long black pony tail yelling her lungs out. Like are you serious?! No music playing.Just the daycare in the kitchen arguing while I haven’t even been acknowledged. The server came to the table finally after waiting for 12 minutes. I asked is the manager was here and he replied no. Ha! This place is a joke. You have GROWN men and woman arguing instead of acknowledging your source of income. The owner should really evaluate his team and make changes immediately.Every time I come to this location the service is horrible. Never coming back again!

I guess a few people had a not so positive experience but I can totally say with confidence that my experience tonight was great! It’s a beautiful Wednesday night here in Little Havana. Beautiful cool breeze and locals strolling there city streets. I was welcomed by a server named Yasmanni who took my order and brought my food. Not a long wait at all and the sushi was fresh and delicious! I will definitely be back with friends.

So being a local you'll understand that there aren't many if any sushi locations on 8st. Truly a great local sushi spot with great sushi and great music. Yes, most waiters speak Spanish but that's what you'll expect with the Little Havana experience. It's a very touristic location and you'll get a truly Spanish experience even at an Asian sushi spot. Everyone is every professional and we will be repeat customers, especially living 10 walking blocks away! Local or tourist must try!

Very poor attention, I went a few minutes ago and I don't come back again. I already bought two rolls the first one is good, the second one the spicy conch is really really bad, I loved the sushi and is a bad experience for me, the flavor combination is so bad. And the attention is really bad too. The place is fine. I told the guy that I don't like the sushi, just I take 2 bites and he just bring me the account and never ask me any question about my food experience. I spent $42.50 for a really bad experience.

Bad service. Waited for 50 minutes for just two rolls. They kept telling us 20 more minutes and didn’t even apologize or were nice about it, they were extremely rude and ignored us anytime we called them. Never coming back.PD: there was a plastic string inside the crab salad

We had a bad experience the first time here but we decided to give them a second chance. Waited 5-10 minutes waiting to be seated while the severs were huddled and talking, so after going up to them they just said “sit wherever”. After trying to sit in 2 other tables we couldn’t because they were dirty. Mind you there is no one at the restaurant. A larger party walked in and they began to wait, I spared them from having to wait an eternity and told them that no one was going to sit them and they can sit wherever they like. We were waiting another 5-10 minutes again to be attended by a server but went to the larger party even though we there way before them so we decided to leave. We were the only two parties at the restaurant so there was no reason for the long wait times and the terrible service. I’ve been to multiple Sushi Sake and this is by far the worst.

The chicken fried rice was much better than the sushi rolls, which were just so-so. Not bad enough to complain about by a long shot, but also not worth trying twice.

Menu could be more extensive and I do wish there was a wider range of alcohol. I think they only have wine and beer. Could benefit from a cocktail menu. Food isn't cooked in front of you hibachi style but everything I had tasted good. You have to try their spicy Mayo!

I placed a pick up order for a few items and when they sent a notification regarding the order being ready. When I arrived, the order was not in fact ready. I then waited 30+ minutes for them to hand me my food and have two items missing. It took them an additional 15 minutes to get those items ready. When I went to check again, I realized the nigiri is only one piece for $5. Such an awful experience for one of my go-to sushi spots. I will not be returning to this location. Avoid ordering pickup through any third party app.
