Make it make sense. The sign says OPEN, there are still people actively eating inside, but somehow they’re “closed” an hour and a half early? I walked up thinking I could at least place a quick order, and the staff hit me with the “we’re done for the night” attitude while customers are literally sitting there with food on their tables.

If you’re going to shut down early, at least have the decency to flip the sign or update your hours. Don’t advertise midnight, have people eating inside, and then act like I’m crazy for expecting service.

This place clearly doesn’t care about consistency or customers. I’m done with it.

Absolutely horrible experience at Sushi Sake in the Hammocks. Online says they’re open until 12 AM, the sign on the door says 12 AM, but when we walked in at 10:30 PM, the staff looked at us like we were bothering them and flat-out said “everything is closed” and they didn’t want to serve us.

If you’re going to lie about your hours, at least take the sign off the door and update Google, because driving out there just to be turned away with attitude is ridiculous.

The vibe was “we don’t care, just leave,” and honestly, I’ve never felt so unwelcome at a restaurant in Miami.

Save yourself the time and go literally anywhere else. This location clearly does not value customers, honesty, or even basic hospitality.

Wouldn’t recommend this spot to anyone.

For some reason, we found this one with special flavors over the other ones from the same franchise we’ve tried!! I would go back to this one!

After 30 min waiting for my order to be ready, this is what i found when i got home. They were having other people waiting and one of the tables was complaining because they got the wrong order. My sushi was breaking apart completely, I ended up using a fork to eat it. Terrible service

We’ve given this place so many chances. We come here often and have been to multiple locations of this restaurant, but this one is by far the worst. Every single visit, the service is unbelievably slow and unprofessional, and the food always tastes off.

This time was the final straw. We actually found pieces of hair in our food. The sushi bar looks absolutely disgusting, especially where they keep the raw fish, and it doesn’t seem like they sanitize anything. To make it even worse, there was NO AC, so it was hot, uncomfortable, and overall just miserable to sit there.

It’s extremely disappointing, especially after repeated visits hoping for improvement. We will not be coming back EVER AGAIN.

Food is great, service needs more attention to detail especially when packing up an order for delivery and when the order arrives the sauces ordered for the rolls are missing or incorrect.

First time I went to this location and only went in to do a small take out order and had to wait almost an hour just to get my order. I ordered a veggie roll and still they took so long to make a simple roll. The place looks well kept but is a bit cramped up with all the chairs and tables. There's barely any space between the tables to walk by without bumping into the people seating at their tables. The waitresses were not very attentive and did not care to see us waiting for our order. I definitely won't be going back.

Placed a pickup order at hammocks location, 40 minutes later order is marked ready. Store says it’s not ready and will be a long time before it is and says their own website marks it ready automatically not them. Says they are doing dine in food first but the restaurant is basically empty. Another 10 minutes just to cancel the order. Worst Sushi Sake of them all, the rest are much better.

How is it possible every time I place order they say its 30 min “crazy wait time” yet every time i arrive not only do i find my order STILL not done but restaurant always dead zero in-store clientele , you can order from sushi sake on bird road they have your order done in 15-20 min max and theyre always packed with in door dining , i just think its crazy this hammocks location has lasted this long no one taking care of the problem, i guess it has just taught me to make the little extra drive instead of waiting 40-50 min for sushi
