I came in today at 11, and we were the only people in the restaurant, yet many tables still had plates and leftovers on them. I’ve read other comments about this location being short-staffed, and I’m not sure if this is an ongoing problem here, as I’ve been to other Sushi Sake locations and never experienced this issue. I don’t know if they share the same owner, but what kind of owner doesn’t ensure their restaurant is properly staffed especially on a Saturday night? That said, the food was amazing. Everything was delicious and beautifully presented. I tried the Vanessa Roll for the first time recommended by my waitress and it was excellent. She was extremely helpful despite all the chaos, cleaning tables and making the restaurant presentable. She seemed to be the only person working the front besides the sushi chefs. I’d definitely come again if she’s my server. Hopefully, next time the restaurant will be cleaner. Do better!

I came into Sushi Sake today right at its dinner peak, and boy, was it packed! It was my family’s choice to come here for sushi, and I’m so glad we did. Our server, Jasmine, was incredibly helpful and sweet, checking on us often — we really appreciated her service during such a busy rush.

We noticed it was just her and another gentleman hustling to clean tables and take care of guests. I’m not sure if they were short-staffed, but they were still completely on top of everything. The sushi was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. We even left a tip for the sushi chefs because they were working so hard and cranking out rolls for every table like pros.

Today was our 1st time at sushi sake…
Man, why have we not come here before??!! Everything was beyond perfect!!! The whole vibe from the moment you walk in, the music, the decor, and the friendly staff! Then we meet Mathew! Mathew was AMAZING… being out 1st time I had a lot of questions.. he answered them all, and with a smile. He kept coming back to check on us! Make small talk and always smiling!
We WILL BE BACK!!!!

I dined in yesterday with my husband and we normally come in on the weekends and order the same meal every time . He gets a shrimp hibachi with a Sapporo and I get a tuna tartar. Once again they don’t have Sapporo it’s been like over a month now… My husbands food came out perfect as always but today my tartar was drowning in sauce I felt awful sending it back but it just was unappetizing. My waitress Jasmine was so accommodating and the services was spot on!

I usually enjoy Sushi Sake, but this location was a total letdown. My wife came to pick up her order and the food came out way later than promised, and the woman handling customer service acted like we were bothering her just by existing. Rude, unprofessional, and slow. Easily one of the worst experiences i’ve had at a sushi sake. we won’t be coming back.

I ordered 3 rolls for takeout, and it took more than an hour to make it, the waitress was very nice she was friendly and professional, but one hour to make 3 rolls is unacceptable.

Not sure if all sushi sakes are owned by the same owner but the one in country walk the food and everything is always amazing. I decided to give this one a try and the food and appearance of it was just horrible even the taste was completely different. I can say i will not be going to this one again. Staff is super amazing but the food defenetly not.

I paid 60$ for 2 rolls, 3 nigiri (and they gave me only 2) and 2 pieces of sashimi. The Price was actualy 57$ but they didn't even ask me if I wanted the change. Unbelievably disappointing on multiple levels, 60$ down the drain 🚽🪠

Terrible experience I went for the first time with some friends, and the one who attends at the door very bad face maybe because of the time it was 10 at night on a Friday, the waitress asked me for the dishes for her to pick it up, she brought me the bill without asking her, they did not refill the water when they were empty nor did they ever ask if we wanted more drinks, they even brought us the drinks wrong, terrible experience I do not recommend it at all.

My co-workers and I have ordered from here, and in short everything has drastically decreased. It was expensive, the sizes were small and not fulfilling at all. It also did not taste fresh. On a minor note because I saw someone else comment, I asked about the spicy mayo sauce, they told me it was there, but was not included even though I tried to make sure.

Sushi sake is our go-to dinner out, but this specific location knocks it out of the park. They serve the tastiest rolls compared to other Sushi sake locations in Kendall. Our server, Reno, was the best in creating an enjoyable experience.
