Had a great experience at Tam Tam Miami. The oysters were beautiful and incredibly flavorful, and the scallop crudo was delicious—light, fresh, and tasty enough to sip like a soup thanks to the sauce. The fish sauce wings were amazing—crispy, savory, and perfectly balanced. The mushrooms were decent, though a bit lacking in flavor compared to the other standout dishes. I wrapped up with the cheesecake, which was sweet and satisfying—not traditional Vietnamese, but still a great finish. Overall, the service was attentive and warm, and I appreciated the creative take on Vietnamese flavors.
I guess the buzz is true about this place cause the food was on point!
Went here with my friends and my sister, who was visiting from Manila. It's not a big place or glamorous, but we loved the retro decor. There's also ample seating, but I highly suggest making advanced reservations about a couple of weeks or so if you have 4 to 5 people. They also offer bar top seating, but I think it's also by reservation only. At 6pm when they open, there are already people waiting patiently to be seated. We were a part of 5, and that's the biggest group they were able to accommodate. 6 is possible but very tight, according to the hostess. And the main reason why this place is so popular and gets fully booked is because of the food and service. Elevated Vietnamese street food, which we were very impressed with. Trust me, our group is very well versed with Vietnamese cuisine cause 2 of my good friends are Vietnamese. We definitely loved this place, starting from the appetizers, to the main course and the shared dessert (because we were so full). The dishes are kinda like tapas style, but very well executed, and the portions were enough to share with everyone. We doubled up on the ribs because they were just so tasty, but we also highly recommend the goat curry noodles. And also, if you're adventurous enough, gotta try the frog legs. For the veggie lovers, you can't go wrong with the Lotus Root Salad. Simply fresh and marvelous!
What we ate:
GOAT CURRY WITH EGG NOODLES
SALT AND PEPPER FROG LEGS
SCALLOP POMELO GOI
TAMARIND GLAZED PORK RIBS
LOTUS ROOT SALAD
TAM TAM WINGS
NHAU BONE MARROW
GOAT CURRY
THAI TES TRES LECHES
Finally some amazing Vietnamese food in Miami! All the flavors were very punchy and made me lick the plate multiple times. Plus, you can find some gems on their rotating wine list!
Excellent food. Alex is a great server!
A good meal, but not worth the high price asked. We had dragon shrimp crudo (ultra acid, no taste of the shrimp itself), jungle stake tartare (good flavour, small portion), mushrooms (probably the best plate), goat curry (most of the meat in the plate was bones)
Every human in Miami should experience Tam Tam at least once a month, what a delightful place! Incredible food and excellent service! We simply couldn't decide which dish we liked the most!
Wonderful food, excellent flavors. Lovely staff, epic bathroom. Worth all of the wait!!!
I've heard many good things about this place so I decided to try it out. We tried a few dishes, beef tartar with ants(a lot, it was too tangy), oysters.. etc. To be honest, it wasn't bad but It's wasn't great either.. Nothing really special.
Food was amazing. The ribs were to die for and the curry was also a hit.
Atmosphere was excellent and fit the vibe.
Would recommend to my friends who go to Miami.
Amazing food and services. 10/10

SO good!! Always skeptical if a place with so much hype will live up to the lore but this place realllly does. Such a lovely vibe too. Don’t miss the scallops. Also love Big Salt wine and we got the bottle of white they have and it went so well with their food. 10/10
We knew going without a reservation wasn’t ideal, but we were visiting from Boca and thought we’d give it a try. Unfortunately, the experience didn’t live up to expectations.
There was a discrepancy between the listed opening times on the website and Google, so we ended up waiting outside while staff chatted inside and didn’t acknowledge the growing crowd. Once seated—on the side of the building in the blinding sun with no umbrellas or shade—it became clear that guest comfort wasn’t a priority.
The food was fine nothing really stood out, but the service felt cold and transactional. The staff gave off a “too cool to care” attitude, like high school cliques doing the bare minimum. Overall, it just wasn’t a welcoming or enjoyable dining experience.
With so many incredible restaurants in Miami offering both great food and genuine hospitality, I wouldn’t return.
The food was amazing, great service
Great spot, great food, great everything. Loved it.
Food does live up to the hype. It’s absolutely delicious.
Service was excellent, which obviously add to the experience.
The location is the only issue - it’s quite sketchy, and I am not sure I’d want to be in the area late night.
