Place is so cute inside, service is great, and the dishes are incredibly creative. I have not tasted anything like these dishes before. We had the scallops, steak tartare, chicken wings, and the mushrooms and they were all incredibly delicious. Will be coming back here.I am gluten free and although the menu is not marked, all but 3 items were gluten free and I had tons of options.Dietary restrictions: Has many gluten free options.

Server recommended our party of 2 order 4 small plates and 1 large - in retrospect, could have done with one less small. Pleasant experience but too expensive at approx $150 for food previously mentioned + 1 lemonade + dessert, though important to note that the portions were filling. Food tasted OK. Dessert was GREAT. As was service! Wish I caught our server’s name, she was lovely, attentive and accommodating. We ordered the lotus root salad with rice crackers which was refreshing and filling, shimeji mushroom which was light and flavorful, the glazed wings which was our favorite small plate (peeled right off the bone, sweet and tangy), the charred and overwhelmingly bitter escarole (personal least favorite), and the lamb wrap situation which was OK (the pineapple and mint here make all the difference). Finished dinner with a pavlova that rocked our world - if we return, we would likely only reorder the wings and 2 pavlovas.Dietary restrictions: Server asked about dietary restrictions prior to taking our order. Love that!

This is a gem!!? My favorite new restaurant. Real sharing appetizers, fantastic food and good sizes at a very good value. You can’t beat this place. Is just amazing.

Vietnam fuse style of food! ??Hooked up in a previous underground club…this Vietnami has all the flavor, spice, and chills ?️ that will blow your expectations beyond your paladar’s comfort zone.Starting of course with their Tām Tām Wings ?dipped in fish caramel sauce! So crunchy, and crispy that will make you want to bite it to its bare bone. Accompanied also by the Shimeji mushrooms?, with vong sauce and scallion oil that gathers at the bottom of the plate to form a buttery little lake. We literally ended up sipping the leftover sauce with a spoon. To wrap up the starters, we closed on a very high note with the Tamarind Glazed Pork Ribs , they are packed with plenty of meat to indulge your canines that will end up soaking the tamarind glaze. As a main dish, we wrapped ourselves with the ?Pork Situation. It includes banh hoi noodles, cylinders of betel-wrapped lamb, some sliced vegetables, a spicy, nutty sauce, slices of Pinapple, and lettuce to hug it all up. Not the best dish, even though it is the most Vietnamese dish you will find on the menu, so I suggest opting for another one. Finally, we swirled our appetite with the curry lamb ?that was tender enough to shred with the tallarines, blending the perfect pairing!Even though the starters were way better than the main strong dishes, we can highly add this Vietnamese getaway to our MUST downtown cuisine extravaganza. ???

I overall enjoyed the food - the small plates were great. The lamb wrap was a little disappointing. it was do-it-yourself wrap with lamb sausages (close Mediterranean lamb sausages) and the sauce fell bland.I did not like the environment: too cramped, felt old and worn down even tho it just opened, hard to hear bc music was blasting, and the bathroom (without karaoke) was dark and dirty. With all these rave reviews, I would expect a bit more pleasant dining experience - some fast casual restaurants felt more comfortable than this.

By far the best meal we've had in a while. Everything, down to the sauces that accompanied each dish, were complex and paired with each protein or veg perfectly. Hope to visit on our next trip!

Amazing night at Tam Tam. The ambiance is fantastic, small but cozy. Enjoyed our food with a pair of incredible wine. Those wings are absolutely banging. ?

Food and service were amazing. I’d been dying to come for ages, and am so happy I was finally able to tonight. For two of us we did the lotus salad, the mushrooms, the wings, the frog legs, the bone marrow, and the steamed fish. We could’ve ordered maybe one less of the smaller plates but everything was too good to skip. Flavors were on point with each dish, and service was on point. Big props to the TâmTâm team

Delicious Vietnamese cuisine served in an unpretentious atmosphere. I’ve been here 3 times and menu items have changed a few times but mostly for the better. The pork ribs are way better today than the first time we visited. Please bring back the pork belly experience !! It was so much more interesting than the lamb experience. Better yet - serve both to make everyone happy! The grilled okra with the pork belly were so good !!
