You can't get a tattoo here, but you can get lots of tacos. Sometimes the tacos have way too much liquid in them and you get a waterfall that pools up on your plate after your first bite. Not my favorite thing, but the food ain't bad. They also have a watermelon cocktail that has a watermelon popsicle. Get that one.

Tacos and Tattoos is a staple in the Kendall community. You must visit this place, if only to tell your friends you’ve been to it. It’s hip, the food is amazing, and you’ll find the most diverse crowd in the neighborhood. The culture part of this restaurant is best reflected at night, when most nights they’ll have a DJ or a live performer. You probably also run into an event involving the community like SoFlo. But the best cultural thing about it are the regulars. It resembles the Cheers (the 80’s sitcom) atmosphere, where everybody knows your name. Bartenders are the reason for this. They are very personable and can arguably make the best cocktails in town.For those who visit for the first time, I would strongly recommend the Chicken Fricasé Flautas. They’re unlike any other flauta you’ve had. Tacos are great too, especially the fish taco and the ground beef one. The mamma’s dip is delicious as well, but the show stopper is without a doubt the Surf & Turf Fajitas Saltadas (a Mexican-Peruvian fusion invented in Tacos & Tattoos). They take the churrasco (skirt steak) and shrimps and stir fry them with onions, green peppers, and tomatoes in a ginger-soy sauce. They’re delicious. As simple as it may sound, don’t leave the place without ordering queso frito.Vegetarian options: You have the option to order tacos, quesadillas, burritos, and fajitas veggie only.Parking: Ample parking spaces where you don’t have to worry about your car getting scratched because of proximity.Wheelchair accessibility: Even the bar has a spot for people in wheelchairs
