So, when we approached Ingrid she did not have our cake ready nor the order despite us placing the order a week in advance. I understood because she showed me proof that her website did not receive the order although it did take out the money from our account. My reason of doing this review is because there was no offer of reducing the price of the cake. How do you not offer a reduced price or something extra for the inconvenience?
When I was about to ask for a reduced price she cut me off and said she wasn’t going to charge me extra for anything. And I’m just thinking “extra?” There wasn’t anything extra btw.
We traveled from Las olas to Miami because of her astounding reviews, but it was so disappointing. It was not what we ordered at all either. So note to self always reach out to make sure the cake is in process because confirmation that the cake order went through AND the money taken out of your bank account is not enough.

Service and professionalism is set aside since I feel I would be biased because Ingrid and I did not see eye to eye.
On cake design, this is a $150 cake and it looks like I could have purchased this at Publix. There are no other elements of the Bluey besides some fondant cutouts. A bit of background, I told Ingrid that she has complete creative freedom and this is the end result. You be the judge of whether you get your cake’s here.
I got in touch with Tantay cakes because I needed a cake urgently. She agreed to do it with a $50 rush fee which was fair. And then said she said the cake was going to be way more than the price on her website(beyond the rush fee). And when I told her I don’t want to spend so much, she said you should go to a grocery store and buy cake! Extremely rude!

The ideas my contact, Ingrid, formulated was fantastic, she sent me some other inspirations to really get to what I wanted. I was looking for something Star Wars for example and she asked if it should be minimal, what characters, and then incorporated her flavors. She was responsive, and she even sent reminders. If you want custom-made cakes, you will do no wrong here.
