Patties not consistent, sometimes the crust is soft and the filling is questionable?
…I like the baked items, they are delicious.
…Shrimp patty today 11-21-25 at 11am tasted like it was filled with turkey stuffing and not a shrimp to be seen.and price raised to $3.50
..not fair to the consumer, could of added on a few dollars and bought a lunch special from another establishment.
..The location that recently closed by Mrs Macs made better patties.
..someone told me this is the reason he goes to Juicy Beef that’s also on 441/NW 2nd avenue .
I’m gonna try them out!

Food quality is not the same

The patties were fresh and hot. I also bought rum and raisin cake and banana bread. That's the first time I heard of rum and raisin cake; it really taste like rum and raisin ice cream. I will definitely visit again.

This place has very rude cashier and workers. I walked in to two women, one sitting down and one standing directly behind the counter on her phone the entire time completely ignoring me. Although I greeted them nicely, I had to ask out loud if someone can please help me after 2 minutes. Not only did she give attitude as if she hated working there, but there were flies flying all around the place. Nasty place with nasty people working there, unwelcoming.

My husband and I started coming to this location when the one on 2nd AVE closed down. We had been going to the other location for at least 6 years so we knew most of the staff. Coming this location, we were so impressed. It is an extremely well oiled machine. The line might be long when you walk in, but it moves FAST. The staff is friendly and efficient. The patties are constantly coming out fresh and the spice is the perfect level of heat. The coco bread is so soft and I love all of the fresh juices The sugar bun is also top tier! We will be regular customers here from now on. Highly highly recommend this place for authentic and fresh Jamaican patties.
