I have been a loyal customer of Telva Bakery for nearly 20 years, dating back to before they even opened their physical storefront. I have always been willing to drive over an hour because their cakes were worth it. Unfortunately, my most recent experience will be my last.
A few months ago, I placed an order for a custom cake. When I first called, a young woman answered and took my order, instructing me to send payment via Zelle, which I did. I then called back to confirm, and a man answered the phone in a very unprofessional manner, as if he were answering his personal cell phone. This alone was concerning, especially for a business with such a long-standing reputation.
I explained my order again, and he offered suggestions. He informed me that the balloons I requested were unavailable and proposed replacing them with a castle decoration, which I agreed to. However, when I arrived to pick up the cake, I was told that the castle was also unavailable. I was never notified of this change in advance.
The cake itself was disappointing. It was not a simple design, yet it lacked effort and did not taste fresh like the classic cakes I had come to expect over the years. When I expressed my concerns, the response I received was dismissive and unprofessional.
This experience was extremely disappointing, especially after two decades of loyalty. I hope this review helps others make an informed decision, as the quality of customer service and overall experience has significantly declined.

I always ordered cakes from here for my family and the flavors are really good. Also costumer service is good too, I have never have any problem with them. The price they have told me the first time it has stayed like that. I have more than 5 years buying cakes and other desserts from them

Very bad customer service I had placed an order even texted with someone sent them a picture of what I needed told them how many people for and the day of they say we haven’t prepared it because you never gave a deposit …. And he was super rude they didn’t even try to take responsibility for what happened and how it was their fault because he never mentioned a deposit or called me or anything after I confirmed the total of people and the size
Sometimes SIMPLE BREAD is not fresh…. The customer service is Excellent, The Cakes and their statements are Excellent… Even the Owner is a BOMB!!! I recommend this Bakery, you won't regret it!!!

I have ordered 4 cakes from them, only once they got the order correct, they have given me the wrong flavor of cake, and also of filling. From the last two orders, the Guava filling has been sour, and the cake has been hard too. I don't know what has happened to them, their quality has gone down the drain. The first time I tried a cake from them was from my Baby Shower, which was delicious, but they lost their touch. I'm not going back to them anymore. Parking is also a pain.I have ordered 4 cakes from them, only once have they given me the cake as I ordered. I have had a bad taste from the Cake Bread, and also from the filling. From the last two orders, the guava filling has been bitter and the cake has also been hard. I don't know what happened to them, their quality is already bad. The first time I tried a cake from them was from my Baby Shower, which was delicious, but they are no longer tasty. I will not buy them cakes again. How difficult is parking there.

The pastries are very delicious. But the only detail is the attention of more arrogant people. Starting with a lady who is all hateful, like if you are going to ask her, she has no education at all and rather you get angry, I don't know why they have public business and they are not going to serve you with love, I am not saying that they treat us like a king either. but they should treat the clientele well ?
