We had a reservation on a Friday at 9:15 pm. We arrived on time, they took us to the table, gave us the menus. We already knew what to order as we reserved for the Miami Spice Menu. We told the waiter and he told us that was not possible as it was until 9pm, we did not have that on the reservation. We still asked him to give us 2 minutes to see the menu then, so we could order something else. He stayed there, waiting, we insisted on a minute to check, he told us: "Oh, kitchen is closing in 4 minutes". We were shocked but insisted on minute to be able to check the menu together. He then added: "But the restaurant is also closing in 30 minutes". And he left. We left after that, because the service was horrible, you could clearly see they did not want you there. None of that information was on the confirmed reservation so I recommend the place to check times open for reservation.
I had just checked in and decided to go for the champagne brunch. I made my reservation and went. The service was amazing and the food was delicious. I really enjoyed myself. I would highly recommend this if you want have a great brunch and excellent service.
Miami Spice 2023. Good service from Todd and Georgina. I had Fugazzetta (Argentine pizza, my 1st time) Napoleon Key Lime cake, and Grilled Skirt Steak. 8/12/23 in the afternoon. I delivered a letter of good service & tip for Todd. This visit is dedicated to my then German-American ex-gf. A promise I shall uphold.
This JW 2nd floor restaurant / bar serves great appetizers, sandwiches and entrees. Located on Brickell Ave. The restaurant has great outdoor seating. Services friendly although leisurely. Food was hot and flavorful.
It is always busy at lunch time but it is Very Very good. We go at lunch for work but if you are visiting it is also good experience to try cuban food or coffee!
We stayed at the JW Marriott for the Miami boat and yacht show. We stopped in for a late dinner and we were extremely disappointed. I had tortilla soup and it was terrible. By daughter ordered a chicken pasta and hers was great. The biggest problem was the service. Drinks didn’t get refilled once and we were almost completely done eating before any of us could even get her attention to get a napkin since our table wasn’t set with them. It was a very disappointing experience. Next year we will stay at another hotel.
Everyone was super sweet! Food and Drinks were amazing. Our Server Maher was so kind and accommodating to my vegan diet! I love this place. When you come to Miami... you have to stop here!!! Thank you to the manager too. I didn’t get your name but thank you beautiful.
La Terraza is inside of the JW Marriott Miami. Had a late lunch, and the restaurant was practically empty. Food: The Cobb salad was good but not great. The salad had an odd ingredient for this specific salad- avocados. The avocado just didn’t work with bacon and blue cheese. And the number of baby tomatoes was minuscule. Service: It took forever to get my salad. I ordered just one item- cobb salad- and the restaurant was basically empty. Adding an automatic 18% gratuity was inappropriate. Overall cleanliness: average
Went in here for a quick lunch. However, staff in no rush. Food was very good. Had a Veggie Burger that was excellent. Sweet potato fries really good and not greasy. Service could be improved and prices lowered.
If you need a reason to experience this totally "native" dive, chicharrones would be that reason. Yes, the service personnel can be a bit dismissive of non-natives, but on each and every visit we had encountered a customer more than willing to help navigate the intricacies of ordering.

We stopped here for a bite when visiting Little Havana. Lots of good food here. To get the authentic feel we had the croquettes and Cuban sandwiches (with potato sticks). Really good. Enjoyed the outdoor seating very much. a very comfortable place to eat at.
I specifically stated that I’m vegetarian, I carefully selected what I wanted I had my eyes on the tamales I asked did they have meat she looked at and said no repeatedly. I later discovered that it was served with tiny pieces of meat. I approached the server and stated that the tamale did have meat then she replied that it did but tiny pieces. I hope no one with food allergies shows up there or someone’s life will be at risk. (The juices were great and servers in that station were great and very appreciative of your business).
This was the spot for Cuban food when i arrived in Miami. I was impressed that it was like my grandma and ma's cooking, since I am PR & Cuban. The chicharron was so meaty and amazing. The pulled pork and rice selections were great. You need to pay cash, but there is an ATM there. Getting a freshly squeezed or blended juice was awesome too!! They had a fridge with sweets like rice pudding and Tres Leches cake, dried fruits and more. It was so nice to have the feeling of home while eating the food. Great place for families, but note that they serve a BIG portion, so two people could share one platter. Don't forget the tostones and sweet plantains. So good!!!
The food was plentiful, so flavorful, and amazing for the price. You don't go here for a quaint, quiet, sit-down meal...it's best if you order take-out and enjoy the food wherever you want to be. It's kind of chaotic to order there if it's busy, but the important thing is that you get the best food, and a lot of it, for a great price! Everybody there is very busy, but they take care of you quickly so you can get on your way. Don't be turned off by the atmosphere that's more like a market, and you won't be disappointed.
My favorite place for Cuban food in Miami. A cafeteria styled restaurant with delicious & fresh Cuban eats. It’s near the Miami airport, so I always bring visitors here. It never disappoints.
