My husband and I had taken a brake from Texas de Brazil because the food quality and service had declined.Recently we decided to go back and give it a try and there has been a significant positive change.Food was delicious and the service has been top notch.Tiffany was the manager on duty a few visits ago and we made sure to compliment the restaurant, food and service.Highly recommend!

Terrific evening. The service was superb and the “Cowboys” did an excellent job. I was worried being seated away from the kitchen and off to the side, but the found me ....a lot! Always a great experience.
Was there this Saturday and it has been the worst experience. Let me first say that we have eaten at this location at least three times and Dolphin's another three or four. Dolphin's TDB has the best service. The last time I was at Dadeland's location I wasn't happy, I didn't want to come back. This past Saturday we wanted to eat at Cheesecake Factory but there was an hour wait so we just went to TBD. We got there and the only seating available was outside. Our server asked how we liked the meat for no reason because he didn't care. After 10 minutes of waiting one person came outside. We looked inside how they went form table to table bringing the meat and we were left outside waiting. Only a few came by. I like meat well done, I had a thin sliver of well done Churrasco, that is all they had for me. I asked for well done filet mignon and when they finally came over after almost half an hour they brought me five pieces of charcoal (I am not exaggerating, I should have taken a picture). He apologized and said it was left a little too long, A LITTLE TOO LONG! Again, I got charcoal. It was so burned you could have passed this meat as charcoal to cook other meat. Anyway, the server was also bad, basically no service. Since I am a decent human being I left a tip, and we all know how expensive this place is. I paid for four with tip and all about $300. I will never come back to this place. it is way overpriced and you the meat at this point is trash. There are other better and inexpensive places you can go to. The salad bar is always great. The rest of the food is fine. Don't expect good service here. If you want to go to TDB, try Dolphin's location. Or go somewhere else. They are no longer a good restaurant, they really let themselves go!

I booked for Valentine's Day 2 days prior. I kept confirming my reservation to let them know that I was going. I got a voicemail from them asking again to confirm firm if I was going and I did. My reservation is at 9. I got there at 8:39 the employee told me that I I had to wait till 9 so I left and came back at 9. The girl then told me they gave my table to someone else because they have called my name and I didn't answer. I let them know that the girl told me to leave and come back at 9 and I had to wait. I had to wait for a table to be cleaned and ready for us, the service was not professional at all, I never got a text or call that they were looking for me and she said that she didn't that she called out my name and then gave my table to someone else. Unbelievable.
Meat was tough and chewy. They didn't have all of the usual offerings available. They only had 2 soda offerings. Sprite and Diet Coke. Side items that were available came out cold. They were “out” of many things. Waitress was awful. The manager was an angel.

It's always a pleasure eating there. We always get the best service from the waiters and the meat is always like we like it. We are regulars and our experience has always been very good except one time that there was a new waiter but he was learning so no big deal everything turned out good. Texas is our go to place for meat if you want to eat good.

First, this is a very expensive place to eat. I went for a celebration and so it was not my choice to choose this restaurant. I enjoyed the open dining room and the staff was very friendly. The meat was brought to our table by roving servers and there were many choices. It was a very interesting experience.However, I found the meats to be quite dry, though I asked for medium cooked. The table appetizers were flavorless and plain, specificly the fries and the cheese biscuits. I did not enjoy those at all. The salad bar had some interesting items but again, the taste was like from a jar and not a savory homemade flavor.I was quite disappointed after spending $60 per person and ended up leaving a lot on my plate because of the poor and dry taste.I may recommend this place to others because the atmosphere is so nice, but I would follow that recommendation with a warning that the price is outrageous for mediocre food. Sorry to have to write this, I really did walk in with very high hopes.
