The Amalfi Llama - Miami

This was by far the worst dining experience we've ever had. We brought our daughter, who was visiting from Texas for the weekend, to celebrate her birthday — and it turned into a complete disappointment. We waited an hour and 30 minutes and never received any food. First, we were told the tomahawk steak wasn't available, so we picked another cut. Thirty minutes later, we were told that steak wasn't available either. Another thirty minutes after that, they came back to say the tomahawk was suddenly available again. By that point, an hour and a half had gone by with no food at all. Our daughter was hungry, and we eventually had to leave. To make matters worse, our bill came out to almost $500 for four people — without getting a single dish — and they still forced us to pay a 20% gratuity ($77). As an “apology,” they handed us a $50 discount card — as if we'd ever want to come back after that kind of experience. Absolutely unacceptable service. I do not recommend this place to anyone. No wonder it was empty.

The heat in the restaurant was unbearable. The A/C was off and we're in Miami!! The waitress was very friendly but didn't know the menu, and after three attempts, she still didn't bring my son his soda. The price was very high for the quality of the dishes.

Slow service, not very attentive. Many people passing by dirty table, nobody to offer farewell or say thank you on the way out although two were standing at the door. Food was OK oysters nice and fresh, empanadas ok but cold and dry , chicken was good - Overcooked slightly and pasta needed a bit of salt. 20% included ao service is overal lackluster. Great drinks but $24 - $18 sides :(. Restaurant is too dark and needs some sound softening on the ceiling and music is down and everything else echoes. Overall OK but would not return.

I truly enjoyed my first time dining at the Amalfi Llama Miami location. Juan, the libations manager and server was welcoming.

We celebrated my wife's birthday at Amalfi Llama Aventura, and everything was perfect from start to finish. The ambiance was stunning — warm, romantic, and beautifully designed. The food was exceptional, full of rich flavor and detail, and the cocktails were outstanding. A huge thank you to Siara, whose service made the evening truly special. She was attentive, kind, and made sure every detail of the celebration was perfect. Thank you, Amalfi Llama, for helping make my wife's birthday such a memorable night. We'll definitely be coming back soon!

He ido dos veces a este lugar y realmente encantador, la pizza de trufa con mushroom es 100/10. Volveré de nuevo!

El lugar es hermoso, espacioso, y muy bien decorado e iluminado; éramos un grupo de 8 celebrando el cumpleaños de una amiga; nos sentaron cerca del bar sin embargo el pudimos conversar pues no había mucho ruido y no había música de fondo; la atención fue buena aunque un poco lenta; el menú reducido en opciones y la comida no pasó de regular; ordenamos muchos appetizers y ninguno era memorable, yo ordené una pasta “caccio e peppe” y me trajeron una pasta con una salsa de crema de leche y pimienta, muy baja en sal que no sabía a pecorino, y al lado añadieron 4 o 5 camarones (un giro inesperado muy propio de USA pero no tradicionalmente italiano). Los precios muy altos considerando la calidad y simpleza de la comida, más 20% de tip incluida y además al pagar solicitan un porcentaje adicional exclusivo para el mesonero lo cual me pareció de mal gusto. Al final terminé pagando cerca de 30% de tip. Cuando la comida es excelente no suelo reparar en estos detalles pero estuvo muy lejos de serlo.

This place is exceptional! We had the steak and Tagliatelle and were blown away! Please visit when you go to Miami. Melissa, our sever, was attentive and even spoke to my daughter in French. 10/10

Antonio and the Amalfi Llama team were excellent! The service, teamwork, and atmosphere were all 5-stars! Antonio was very welcoming, made excellent recommendations, and was always so attentive from beginning to end. I highly recommend them to all who are looking for an unforgettable experience. We can’t wait to come back!
