The Amalfi Llama - Miami

My husband and I dined at The Amalfi Llama in Aventura's new Esplanade Mall for the first time and thoroughly enjoyed it. The food was exceptional, with highlights including Hamachi crudo, Puccia bread, Prime Ribeye, and outstanding Lamb chops with potato, paired with Rufino Modus' red wine. Desserts, Fire-roasted cheesecake and Chocolate sin, were divine. The restaurant's modern aesthetic and Giuseppe's attentive service made for a wonderful evening. We will definitely return to The Amalfi Llama.

Nothing spectacular or special, very bad service, the food is average, the price is very exaggerated for the size and quality of the food, I do not recommend it, the only redeeming thing is that the place is very nice.

We loved the ambiance, the food was delicious. The service was impeccable. He had amazing knowledge of the whole dinner & drink menus. We ordered the Margherita pizza with a GF crust. Highly recommend it, you can’t even tell it’s GF. The house chopped salad was great also. Loved their GF pasta. Their Baked Carbonara is a very savory & decadent pasta dish. Cocktail drinks on point! A great place for a date night, or to celebrate a special occasion.

Slow service!! Had to stand up look for a servers for 5 minutes. $29 for pizza that had no flavor m. Will not be going back

I had the most wonderful time with my server Jose ! He was so kind and helpful, wonderful first experience at this restaurant ! The food was amazing and great quality. Will be coming again !

This was an amazing dinner! My new fav place. Julian was great and gave us superb service. The food is delicious and best cocktail shrimp in south Florida.

Wow!! Jose our server was so kind, knowledgeable and careful about our shellfish allergy. He went above and beyond to care for our needs and recommend the right dishes. Highly recommend coming here, the steak is so much better than STK. ask for Jose.

I couldn’t post pictures because it didn’t last! The food was excellent, the service was incredible. We sat with Ivanosky, who took super outstanding care of my family. We have 2 small children and a teenager and he made sure there food was out first and superior quality. YOU NEED TO COME!

We were there for a private event, and the food service was over the top. Jose was our server and he was impeccable. We had multipol courses that were a little complicated, but they served it in such a wonderful way. Everyone felt very special.

First time eating here & the service and food was amazing! Stella was my waitress, she was so sweet & attentive. Also big shoutout to Chef Val & the rest of the team. The food was great! I met up with a friend for dinner who’s 100% vegan & they were able to accommodate her and see she had a great experience as well. Will definitely come back!!

I ordered a salad that I asked to replace the avocado with artichoke (ingredient from different salad) they charged $7.00 for that! I asked for a tiny cup of marinara for the fried calamari since I don't like spicey ailoli, they brought a huge bowl and charged me $5.00 extra! The waiter was nice but seemed annoyed at my simple requests, and I had to ask for more water from other waiters. The chimchurri for my $64 steak never arrived! The calamari was terrible, like the worst, over done! The place is pretty and nicely designed, but the food and service wasn't worth it and the stingy upcharging was unacceptable! Will not be going back!
