Around 9am, we ordered 3 breakfast burritos and tater tots. All of it was fresh and tasted great. The service was quick and friendly. We requested hot sauce to go and they generously filled some to-go cups for us. Would definitely eat here again.

Nancy, the server, hustled and helped out a packed restaurant with a smile. The food is typical airport food, but we would come again because of the service. It took a long time to get our food, which is typical for the airport also.

Food is bad, like really bad. The burger had everything to be a good burger but it was lacking taste. The fries same story. Service is good but the positive side is that everyone knows the place is not good so it’s always empty.

My bartender barely said a word to me, when I started to look obviously annoyed she said 'I got it' then proceeded to do side work. My beer took just as long as my burger. My beer was cold, but so was my burger and my fries.

Horrible experience. Bartender was absent for 10 mins then was totally rude when he returned. Choose a different spot no matter what.

Our sandwich was good. However a regular fountain drink is $5 and our cups where not even full and coke was flat so flat you can taste the syrup. The guy running around pointed a QR code saying: when you are ready to pay you are suppose to use that code. Didn’t even ask how was I going to pay. By the way, a 18% tip no matter what. Place was relaxing and I really wanted to like it but it disappointed me.

Worst service I have experienced. They were rushing me to eat, acting I owed them something, pushing me to pay even before I finished eating. They added an automatic 18% gratuity, they didn’t even asked. In summary, just an awful service.

I would not recommend this place. I purchased food from here during a layover and it was horrible. I simply ordered fries and chicken wings. The fries were cold and stale. The chicken wings were undercooked. On top of that, the person at the to-go counter over charged me and told me "the prices changed". He had to get his colleague, who pointed out to him, that he selected the wrong item. This was a total waste of time and money. Eat somewhere else.

The gentleman that works there is very kind and he deserves all of the appreciation! But there is a lady there that was behind him micromanaging for no reason and she was rude and didn't even want to give me what I wanted to pay for so that's the only reason there's no stars but if I could give it five stars just for his service and that's then I would! But the ladies there are just rude and they have no customer service skills!

Place your order online and sit for 45 minutes only to find out you aren't going to eat. Do Not go here if you don't have an hour and a half before your flight. Recommend you find somewhere else to eat.
We had some time during our layover at the Miami Airport to grab something to eat before our connecting flight. The staff was friendly and helpful, but only two guys juggling orders and drinks. If we were pressed for time, we would have asked first. I felt they did a good job. They specialize in burgers, I guess we should have ordered one. We were there between breakfast and lunch. My grilled chicken piece was thin and over cooked. The bun and toppings were delicious, tho. The skinny sliced French fries were good. I was told the breakfast burrito was just OK. High prices for the quality, but Airport convenience is always more expensive. They also serve cocktails, beer, and milkshakes.

I had given The Counter a 5 star review a few months ago. I ate there again today with a friend. We ordered burgers with french fries and a glass each of wine. `The burgers were good as was the wine. But the fries arrived only slightly warm. Fries should be hot. Especially when they are part of a meal for two that cost $100!!! I was very disappointed with what they served us.
I wish I could do a better job of getting the word out there. This place is absolutely awful. I wish I could give it 0 stars.Short version - service is lacking, drinks aren’t good, food is subpar, and it’s overpriced.I’ll start from the top. 1) No service - just online ordering at your table. This is maybe fine, except the whole thing is supposed to be custom ordering. Tons of staff just standing around throughout our visit (also maybe fine, but feeds into cost and therefor pricing). Also, they add an 18% automatic gratuity. Not sure what for since we do our own ordering online. 2) I had a margarita - it was a little sweet, but fine. My girlfriend had a lemonade - it was literally a “Simply Lemonade” in the bottle. 3) Ordered the Buffalo Cauliflower. It was way over-cooked, greasy, and didn’t taste like Buffalo. Buffalo cauliflower is one of my favorites and pretty hard to mess up. These were bland, and made me feel gross. 4) Everything came with plastic cutlery - both lazy and bad for the environment. 5) Shoestring fries were actually fine. 6) my girlfriend had a chicken sandwich. It was flat, dry, and mostly bland. She ate less than half. 7) I got the Miami burger. It wasn’t good, and came out extremely rare (upon reading other reviews this seems to be a theme - wish I had checked). 8) Extremely overpriced considering the quality and service. It wasn’t large portions, it wasn’t good, we didn’t feel taken care of. I can’t understand the value proposition. It was $75 (including the gratuity) for a bland, undercooked burger, a dry chicken burger, overcooked and greasy Cauliflower bites, a mediocre marg, and a small from-the-store bottle of lemonade.Again, I wish there was a better way to announce that no one should ever come here. There are significantly better options very close by in the airport, and I imagine close by to anywhere one of these exists.
Very good food and very fast service
