Honestly, I felt a little down. My only criticism is that the oxtails should have had much more flavor. It was missing to me the Jamaican spices. The meat was spot on tender. The rice and peas, and cabbage are great. Maybe I'm spoiled being from the Bronx NYC and having lived in a Jamaican neighborhood. Hardly any Jamaican spices on the oxtails. I’m Dominican and this food is one of the best Caribbean foods I’ve ever had, the brown chicken stew and rice and peas are stellar. Cant comment much on the service bc I typically order uber, I dont go in person but they always pack my food right with good portions.

This was my second visit to The Dutch Pot Restaurant in Miami Gardens Fort Lauderdale, and it won’t be my last! The true gem of this place is the staff. From the moment I walked in, I noticed the genuine, friendly interaction between the staff and customers – no impatience or condescension, just warm and welcoming service. It’s rare to find such a personable atmosphere!
