#1 was the really nice staff. Missing collegen add on but made great substitutes. I love this atmosphere. Outdoor seating and view. Very fresh salmon.

I ordered a chocolate PB smoothie, skipping the chocolate and throwing in some vanilla and protein powder instead. It was delicious. The banana bread had a pleasing balance, being both filling and light. I was thrilled to see so many vegan and plant-based options on the menu. The atmosphere of this cafe is laid-back and inviting. Grab a book, work on your laptop, or have a chat with the welcoming staff! As the story goes, the cafe was created with athletes in mind, so its menu is filled with nutritious smoothies, protein-packed snacks, and energizing meals; it's the perfect spot for refueling after a workout, etc. The atmosphere is a wonderful place for those who share a passion for fitness. They also have a run club!

You come to the Hideout for the aesthetic and delicious food, some great espresso, and you stay for the people. I just moved to Miami I would not be having half the success or fun that I have been having if it weren’t for Breechay and the Speed and Form run team. Feels incredible to have a group that is so motivated and disciplined to grow.

Hideout Café is a gem tucked in the Edgewater neighborhood.
Run by a local athlete who also leads a 5 AM running group, the café has an eclectic charm with a stunning presentation and a soundtrack that channels the best of Ibiza, Tulum, and Mykonos—tasteful, calm, and breezy.
The menu is carefully crafted with prime organic ingredients, offering meals that nourish your body without weighing down your soul.
My only note? The space feels a bit underused. In a community filled with working families and kids, there’s so much potential for more: maybe a few live music sets during Sunday brunch, or a relaxed early evening with cool drinks and great music. It’s the kind of place that could easily become the neighborhood’s go-to for winding down—with friends, with family, or solo.

I’ve been living in Miami for 4 years, and as a big coffee lover and regular, I can confidently say that Hideout Café is hands down the best coffee shop in town.
The atmosphere is welcoming and relaxed, making it a great place to start your day or catch up with friends. Special mention to their peanut butter bowl—it’s honestly one of the best breakfasts you can have in Miami. Fresh ingredients, delicious flavor, and always beautifully presented.
If you’re serious about good coffee and great food, you won’t be disappointed. Highly recommended!

The avocado toast with mushrooms rocks!
PS. Doesn’t matter in which mood you enter this location- you will definitely leave it totally happy, with an uplifted spirit and beautiful smile on your face! 🙏🏻🫶🏼
Hideout Cafe is a love story dedicated to fitness as a lifestyle. These guys have not just a passion for health foods, but an obsession for it. Nestled in the corridor between the watermarc & edition buildings, there is a delightful breeze caressing you as you enjoy the smoothies and OJ, which taste like the nectar of the Gods. Do yourself a favor and check them out!
Food and coffee is good. But the prices 😱🤯🤯 they definitely need to adjust their pricing policy, an avocado toast shouldn’t cost 25+$.
Love this hidden cafe up one level from the street near a cool big park in Edgewater. Delicious fresh-squeezed (right there) OJ. Wonderful latte (went back later for a second one). Super nice staff. Loved the quirky, arty decor inside. Outside (you are one flight up) is a deck area with tables and plants and other seating and partial views of the water. I used to go to the Mermaid, an artist-created guesthouse in SoBe in the 90s and it had a unique spirit of how SoBe was in that time (which I've always associated with Miami as I liked it best) -- tropical, arty, boho, fun, casual, friendly, yet also with a real sense of style. This is the first place I've found that gave me that same wonderful feeling again.... People working there were so nice. Had some tasty sweet banana bread too. Mostly just loved hanging out there.
