Today, August 28,2024. I purchased a shrimp dinner with 2 sides. Collards and peas & rice. The dinner was terrible. Collards were much much too salty. Peas & rice were so hard couldn't chew them. This was $20+ wasted .

Honestly this place isn't so bad but if you are going to charge a decent amount for your food then cook it to order at the very least. And the worst part is I asked if I want my steak cooked medium will there be red in the middle. They replied yes so I asked for it and when I get my steak it is well done. Just say you guys can't cook a steak and I will order something different. Is that hard!?!?!?

We're visiting Miami from South Carolina. The food and service is AMAZING!!! We love it here! Food is VERY well seasoned. We have visited other locations but this location by far has the BEST food!!

The food is good but too salty the greens rice and turkey were so salty we couldn't enjoy it please tone down the salt

Please seal all food containers and the bag that is comes in. My rice was all over the bag the people that delivered it did not even try to close the bag nor tie it so the food would not tumble over. The dish was warm near cold. Please seal all deliveries from now on.

Went to The Licking One hour ago - South Miami Location. I was served by Trenese She was knowledgeable about the menu. She was friendly. I ordered the Fried Conch Dinner, with candied yams, collard greens & a side of pigeon, peas and rice. I was delighted by the quality of the food. I was so impressed. When I got home I asked my son to come over and do a taste test. He enjoyed the food and now I have shared the location with him. The Licking Food was a good value for my money. The place was spotless, and the air conditioning was working very well. I will be returning.
Fried conch was really good although I felt the mac and cheese and collard greens were missing flavor. I also tried the egg rolls which were great. The service here is really good, atleast the cashier was very nice and we also received our food fast.

Yummy!! This place is good. We had the fried shrimp, yams, fries, and mystery drink. With a side of red velvet waffles. The mystery drink tastes like syrup though . It was too sweet for me! The yams were good, but they were very candied. So be careful. Otherwise, I'd come again and order more!
