A decent date night spot with a cute, romantic interior and live music, perfect for a laid-back evening. Their happy hour is a highlight, especially for the charcuterie board, which is a better value than the rest of the menu. While the salad was just okay and the mezzaluna pasta a bit underwhelming, the schnitzel stood out—tender, flavorful, and well-prepared. Service was fine overall, but I wish the dishes were served one at a time instead of all at once.

Kitchen hours are wrong and have been for over a year. It’s a shame because the staff, food, and restaurant itself are amazing. We’ve been coming since the location was named, “The Mighty”. Each time they say they’ll fix it, yet it’s been the same issue. Make sure you call ahead if you don’t want to be disappointed.

Great service. Definitely enough food. Great prices but.. Menu is over thought. Too many ingredients left me confused.. like what am I tasting.
So when you walk in the tables are a rough wood grain and the bar is faced with a faux black leather . With that visual.. I was hoping for a good steak , baked potato and salad. Like I said, the menu is way to complex to know what each choice is. The steak was full of grissel and fat. Salad and bit wilted and too wet. Me..Disappointed. Oh ..the music.. to much rock to relax while eating dinner.
I suggest a readable menu and a great steak and burger venue. Maybe chef it down a few notches.
All in all very friendly staff.
Give it a try and I noticed the Burger and fries looked GREAT.

The service was great. Chris the bartender was wonderful. The drinks were nice. The grilled oysters were delicious. I also ordered the burger, I asked for onions to be added to my burger. Not an unreasonable request. I was told that they would have to speak to the Chef (oh boy). Well when Chris came back from the kitchen I was told that the Chef said no because it's an award winning burger and is not changing it and won't honor my request. The burger was OK. Award winning? Nah. It's just a burger. An In-n-Out burger replica. Needless to say that I will not be returning to this establishment.

A Perfect Spot for a Date Night!
The Gibson Room is a gem. The food and music are fantastic, with cocktails that are truly on point. It’s the ideal setting for an intimate evening out with an adult crowd, making it perfect for date nights. I highly recommend this place to anyone who loves jazz, great cocktails, and quality food. You really can’t go wrong here!

Where do I start. First, the people that served us were fantastic. However, can’t say the same for the food ( most blame non tasting food I have ever had), nor worse the so called music entertainment. While I was there, it was a so called DJ (long hair guy) which took him 1 1/2 hours to set up a whole bunch of cables and people were asking when he was going to start. The patience that this guy had was astonishing, he was more worried about his long hair than connecting the cables to his player. Finally when he did play a record, we heard Sade?, mind you I love Sade but for some Sade, George Benson and Anita Baker I will play in Spotify. $240 later, no ambiance, bland food and disappointment. Will not recommend this place, your better off at a restaurant that offers live music. Sorry Gibson Room.

This used to be my favorite spot in the Gables. I visited frequently and recommended it to many people. Unfortunately, my most recent visit was far below the standards I expect from the Gibson Room. To begin with, none of my reservation details were acknowledged; it was as if my reservation never existed. The waiter didn't introduce themselves, and we only realized we had a waiter after a long wait when someone randomly appeared to take our drink order. Finally, they brought our drinks and a small appetizer on the house, when I tried to ask about it the bartender just kept walking away even as I was making eye contact with him, and kept asking him to elaborate, he just kept yelling whatever he was yelling, then I finally just gave up on that “conversation”. We experienced long delays for every course, and when our main course arrived, the food was disappointing. The Pork Schnitzel was bland and unappetizing—far from the quality I've come to expect from the Gibson Room. Despite my feedback, the waiter did nothing to improve our experience. Eventually, my girlfriend had to politely address our concerns, which led to the entree being voided. Please make the Gibson great again, it's painful to see a Miami staple go down like that...
The food was pretty good! And the drinks well made!

Had a great time at the Gibson Room last night. The vibe is awesome—cool music, and the atmosphere just pulls you in. Massiel, our server, was fantastic, making sure everything was perfect. The food hit the spot, especially the smash burger, and cocktails were on another level. This place is a hidden gem in Miami. Definitely planning to come back soon!
Parking: It was a good spot easy to park.

I understand a restaurant being slammed and the service slacking a bit. However, not only was the restaurant at capacity, everyone that was there had a reservation. And they still only had 1 server working the whole room. How could a restaurant with good business practices only have 1 server check people in upon arrival, tend the tables, takes orders and also have them be the ones who hand out both food and drinks. Our server was so overwhelmed we didn't receive our drinks for 25 minutes, the table seated after us received both drinks and food before us. And I am sure it was because she forgot to put in our order as she came back to the table 20 minutes after to confirm our drink order. Also did not love that instead of the restaurant owning up to their mistake they intended to shame us for asking where our drinks were. Overall not a great experience. Was upset before I even got to try my first drink. Although the drink once arrived was good it didn't make up for the experience. Also the hamachi was extremely fishy. Disappointed is an understatement.
