To be honest, the food is a literal âmehâ nothing special, nothing to hype. Service was good, really nice personal and nice atmosphere. But at the end of the day itâs a restaurant and we go for the food, not worth coming back or get dessert.

Great vibe and solid food. The crab rangoon was a little too creamy for my taste, but the crab fried rice, Hennessy orange chicken, and braised short rib were all excellent. Service was good, though our server pushed us into ordering more than we needed, one entree with the fried rice wouldâve been plenty. Overall, definitely worth checking out, just order wisely.

I dined here last week. Great vibes and delicious food for reasonable prices.
Really great food. Perfect for sharing with a group of friends. Vibe and music are great. I love the sumo sake in the cups, usually not a sake kind of guy.

Strong 4 stars....food was solid... nothing bad, great value for price point. No one single dish was AMAZING, but all were good and not disappointing. Unlike others, i dont overuse 5 stars or standing ovations. No T, no shade

Double luck is a hidden gem for anyone craving authentic Chinese flavors in a warm, welcoming setting. From the moment you walk in, the aroma of sizzling garlic, fresh herbs and soy greets you, and the staff ensures you feel right at home.
The menu offers an excellent balance between traditional dishes and modern interpretations. Their braised short rib strikes the perfect harmony of tenderness and flavor , while the double cooked pork belly delivers a bold kick of peppercorns that lingers pleasantly. For something comforting, the the tempura eggplant is lightly batters and served in a fish fragrant sauce, this was excellent. Almost forgot! The crab Rangoon is out of this world as well.
Portions are generous, making it easy to share with friends and family. The staff is attentive, without being intrusive, and service is impressively quick even during peak hours. The restaurant is clean, tastefully decorated, and maintains a relaxed, casual atmosphere and the chef is also the owner, so you must plan your next visit today and maybe you'll get lucky at Double luck!
PS. So proud of you both

One small note: if youâre sensitive to spice, be sure to ask for a milder version, as several dishes lean toward authentic heat levels.

Went for my wifeâs dinner and the place was awesome! The service was fantastic and perfect! Super attentive to everything. The food was really good and definitely a must try if you want a different take on Chinese food. We had the Hennessy Orange chicken which was a show of its own and the chicken itself was super good as the chicken was lightly breaded and juicy. We also had the Spicy Noodles which were also a hit! The last dish we ordered was the Chinese Schnitzel but beware itâs freaking huge!!! The flavors were so good and we had a real blast. Also the atmosphere was super chic and cool and if you can check out the bathroom itâs an art display itself!
Incredibly delicious, some of the best Chinese around!! The crab rangoons are a canât miss! Also dreaming about the crab fried rice when I canât have it. Despite all the great selects we made, it didnât feel like we tried enough - I would love to go back and try it all really. The vibe is immaculate, making me feel like Iâm in Freaky Friday.
Everything was amazing. The eggplant and Hennessy chicken were next level. Loved the vibe, the service was super friendly, and the whole place just felt great. 100% coming back and totally recommend it!

Had a truly wonderful dinner at Double Luck, the Chinese pop-up restaurant in the former Schnitzel House space. The staff were all friendly and accommodating despite us showing up late for our reservation (even by Miami standards) after a mixup with the babysitter.
We tried the mushrooms, crab rangoon, and eggplant for starters, all of which were excellent. The crab rangoons are actual snow crab legs deshelled, breaded and fried. The cloud ear mushrooms were surprisingly my favorite with a tangy vinegar dressing and excellent crunch. For our mains we got the green tea duck and spicy beef noodles. Both were excellent, but the duck was incredible. Tender with subtly spiced rub. Also, the accompanying sauces and warm buns were perfect. We were too full for dessert so just opted for liquid dessert and finished off a wonderful Hungarian white wine suggested by the waitress.
Not really sure how this spot got anything but great reviews, though perhaps it being a pop-up they're still finding their stride with consistency. Either way, I sincerely hope they make it as our experience was nothing but great.
Very lovely atmosphere perfect for a first date
Nice bar to hang at. The food was extremely spicy
The waitress was very sweet and attentive
She didnât really explain how spicy EVERYTHING was
It burnt for 2 days .
All I can say is OMG. THIS food is the real thing. I have eaten at other ersatz ASIAN CUISINE but this place SLAM DUNKS the other ones.
Do you want to eat CUISINE or eat mediocre ho hum food.
My Chinese grandson visiting didnât want to go but in the end I COULDNT drag him away.
The staff is wonderful and dedicated.
A +
NOTE: Restaurant is closed! I checked the website which says they are open, called the voicemail which says they are open 7 days a week but when I arrived it was clearly closed.
This place was amazing. Service 10/10 would recommend. Our server, Nicky, made the best recommendations for food and was just the absolute best. Everyone in the staff was great. The food was amazing, and we got to thank our chef personally. The chicken schnitzel was ?. Drinks and beer were perfect. Will be coming back for brunch!
