My family visited here while celebrating my sister's 50th birthday. We paid about $50 per person for the Sunday brunch. No lines because we came when they 1st opened. Music was EXTREMELY LOUD and for the younger people but I didn't mind. The food was DELICIOUS!! They had a large buffet with a variety of foods. The mac n cheese was to die for!!! Unlimited mimosa and it had SOME KICK!! Chef Lawrence was extremely friendly. He walked around and checked on the patrons and took pictures. Great time and we will definitely be back when I'm in the area again.
My husband and I wanted to experience the 'Sunday Brunch' while hanging out in Miami. I've watched the show since the first season and was anticipating a satisfying and enjoyable experience but our actual visit was anything but that?! The brunch consisted of greasy, paper thin bacon, rubbery/powdered eggs, watery (liquafied), unsalted grits, undiscernibly flavored pasta, a 1-2 day old rice dish and the 'signature' chicken and waddles which was both chopped up in mini bits and pieces and was all served up in huge bus boy buckets on a rickety picnic table. It was a particularly hot day but since the restaurant was crowded, we were seated outside on mismatched Walmart clearance sale patio furniture where we had to BEG and run down the servers for the 'complementary' mimosas. I had such high hopes for this place as I want to see Lawrence succeed. We saw both Yandy and Lawrence and I will say they were both friendly and warm and ended up being the highlight of our visit NOT THE FOOD! After spending more than $100 for less than subpar food, eating (and sweating) out back whilst swatting flies, I can honestly say that was our First and Last time dining at the Pink Teacup Villa.
Restaurant manager does not pay their employees for their hard work. This is disgusting and I will never eat here again. Food wasn't that great anyways
Awful treatment of employees it’s actually ghetto to not pay your employees and very criminal stay a crook
The owner doesn’t pay his workers and is very disrespectful to black women he does not deserve our patronage
The service is 5 star and the food is phenomenal!
Stopped here because my mother was familiar with their tv show. We were initially greeted by security and was offered a tour of the place at my mother's request. The server's were nice enough to walk us through and show us around. We decided to eat here to see if it was worth the hype. It definitely was. We ordered the chicken n waffles and the catfish n waffles. Food was SO good. The drinks came out pretty strong as well. Prices were definitely reasonable for the location and fame. Music is a bit louder than I would care for, but from my understanding that's also part of the appeal. It's also been said that it's definitely a weekend brunch spot you do not want to miss. We went during the weekday, as we were not around for the weekend. Since I don't watch the show, I am not personally in tune with what goes on, but I will definitely consider giving it a go if I find it on the tele. Before leaving, we saw the owner. My mother asked for a pic and he happily obliged with zero reservation. He was super friendly, and even offered to make sure we had spots for a day over the weekend should we choose to come back again. Sadly, we had to decline. Overall a great experience and the servers was nice enough to pose for photos with us and take photos of us. Would def come again.
The Pink Teacup appeared to be one of the only black owned businesses in the area which was definately a breathe of fresh air. The food was amazing. The admision line was long, but it was well worth the wait. We had a great time, and even when our time limit was up, we were able to move outside in the back by the waterfall to continue to enjoy the music and atmosphere.
An Amazing Experience! Service was AweSome! Food was on Point!! The Ambiance extremely Wonderful! My daughter, Friend Girl and I.... Miami Visit ... We're Fan of the show!!! Very Pleased!!!
The Brunch food was horrible! I paid 49 for bacon, old looking waffles, nasty looking eggs, pasta that was sour and salty buffalo chicken. I deserve a refund . The worse pre Birthday!!

A visit to the Pink Tea Cup Villa makes me wonder how much of their business is repeat versus a tourist experience. If you’re a fan of the show then $50 for brunch might be ok, after all mimosas were included. Since I don’t watch the show and only went with others who do, I left full but underwhelmed. On the day of my visit there was no wait and the all female waitstaff was both pleasant and attentive. The buffet consisted of eggs, waffles, bacon, buffalo and fried wings, particularly flavorful chicken and fish nuggets, lasagna, Philly steak pasta, Mac and cheese, two exotic rices (**** maybe) and a few other items. Absent from the buffet was anything green and fruit. Mimosas were refilled often. Overall, half of my party was pleased with the experience and photo ops. For the others it was a one-time visit.
I watched the show and I assumed that it would be an ideal Place to visit while in Miami... I attended the Sunday brunch and was highly disappointed. The waffles was dry and everything else didn’t look appealing. They served us hot mamosas. The Mac and cheese was nasty. The only highlight of the Buffett option was the fish nuggets and they were just ok if anything.
You are eating in Miami Beach! The prices are going to be around $25-30 an entree. Beautiful place quick service depending on your waitress. It can get crowded from out of town cruise guest and tourist. Overall it's a popular place to eat from TV, with beautiful see sexy servers bringing you drinks.
The Pink Tea Cup is all hype and no substance. We visited this restaurant simply to support Chef Lawrence. Unfortunately, this restaurant epitomizes low expectations that can only be addressed by ownership and management. The menu is beyond limited, as you have the choice of either chicken, catfish or shrimp with waffles. The fact that the food itself was outshined by the cheap plastic cups in which the drinks were served. The experience itself was more reminiscent of a family picnic at the park than a dinning experience worthy of a plus $125 check for two entrees and drinks. The food itself was flavorful but the fact that ownership was present and allowing his food to be presented this way speaks to the culture of low expectations that basically disrespects the time and money of those who choose to patronize this establishment.
Great food and good energy. It’s a delicious and good food. Good drinks and atmosphere. Good chicken.
