Went to the smorgasberg in Wynwood on the weekend and had the oysters, they were warm and the sauces they give you tasted bad. A day later felt super sick and puked . Do not get oysters from this place! they give you food poisoning!!

Tried the oysters during happy hour with a 50% discount, but they were disappointing. They had sand in them and an unpleasant texture, which ruined the experience. The price was appealing, but the quality didn’t match. Not an experience I’d recommend or repeat.

One of my favorite local spots! Gorgeous ambiance, spectacular service, and phenomenal food and drinks! Every time I’ve dined here, my experience has been nothing short of amazing. The oysters are OBVIOUSLY a must-have, but my favorite dish by far is the truffle gnocchi. I don’t normally opt for crab, but this dish was rich and succulent, truly a treat for any foodie! If you’re looking for something a bit less pricey, they have one of the best happy hours in Miami, but go early because the bar gets packed (which truly is just a testament to how much of a local staple River Oyster is). When you go, please ask for David, his service has always been exceptional!

We absolutely loved this restaurant and ended up coming here twice during our trip. Both times, we started with the oysters, which were absolutely amazing, and then opted for seafood dishes. The octopus I had was delicious, and my parents couldn’t stop raving about how fresh and flavorful the fish was. Highly recommend!

I’ve been visiting River Oyster Bar for a few years. Although I loved the old location this new restaurant is really cool and modern. The crab brown rice is one of my favourite dishes. I don’t know how they make it so tasty. The tuna tartare is excellent too!!! Yesterday we had Sonny S as our server and he was lovely, cheery and efficient. We will be back - tonight - even. Too many dishes I want to try!!
