This place is amazing but can be overshadowed by bad service. The guy at the register was awesome who seemed to be a shift leader but the barista that made my coffee was rude and can be heard speaking poorly by customers. This is not the atmosphere you want in such a great coffee shop. Also please make more potato and egg turnovers because there are never any when I go and they are amazing

I was very excited to try this place after hearing amazing reviews but I was disappointed in the flavor of the donut. I thought paying $6-$7 for one donut was ridiculous but I didn’t mind doing it if it tasted amazing. I had the “tres leches” donut because the cashier told us that is their most popular. My dad had the “guava and cheese” and I got a “carrot cake” one to go. I love anything carrot cake but I did not think this donut had much flavor and the “tres leches” donut tasted like absolutely nothing, just air and the frosting smelled weird, like old milk. My dad said the guava and cheese donut was not tasty and I find it hard that anything “guava and cheese” would be less than mediocre. Their lattes also were not tasty and overall it was an expensive order. I think I will stick to being a Dunkin girl

I have been coming here since they opened. The 3 leches was the best, but now they change it up to the point that is so inferior to the original.I just hope that the owner reads this review, and they bring back the original.

I had a miscommunication with DoorDash regarding a special order and the associate, Keeba (sp?), was extremely helpful in getting the issue rectified. My family orders here 1x a month and we cannot recommend The Salty enough!

Beware: these donuts SELL out.We decided to crave a donut closer to closing time (we've made that same mistake before even like 2 hours before closing) and sure enough, we were donutless and stuck with a donut craving in Wynwood. Sad, sad, experience and 10/10 don't recommend. What I do recommend is going back, way earlier **preferred** and grabbing a donut (or 10) and filling that little donut spot in your stomach. These donuts are on the bigger side so beware of the happiness you're about to experience.Nothing has miami written all over it like a guava and cheese or tres leches but presented as a donut. Right when life couldn't get better, they even have a nutella crunch filled donut. Now I'm not really a filled kinda gal but anything that holds, contains, sparkles, has nutella - I'm instantly in.Of course, biting into both the guava and cheese and nutella donut was a true magical experience. What's not to love from soft and squishy donuts with an extra special filling. Warning: belly dances and happy feet may and will be activated.It's of course a donut shop, we diiiiiid expect the coffee to hit but sadly it didn't and it was a true miss. Totally ok because we're here for the donuts. Oh, and these guys made 11 of the best donut spots in America, how amazing!If you're in Wynwood or anywhere near any Salty Donut location - run don't walk. They have other locations in SoFlo! Also they have a gluten free donut and a vegan Oreo option for the friends in need

Came late in the day and there were still a good amount of donuts. Good looking variety and the ones I got were delicious. Staff was kind and helpful. The spot is a little hard to find if you don’t know exactly what you’re looking for or come from the other side of Wynwood Jungle.
