I was excited to finally find a bakery with Guatemalan breads. Unfortunately, the bread is different than what I have had in the past in Guatemala, and that made back in my hometown.
I have been living in Miami for 20 years and when I want to eat fresh and delicious bread I go to Tikal bakery, the owner is very kind. But the last few times I've been the bread doesn't taste the same. The last time I went, I wanted to eat a quesadilla, nothing like the way they were before, it was hard and tasted extremely like eggs, the same with the cuviletes, which were also my favorites. I also bought some stuffed Chiles and the size was ridiculous, very small...
I made a large order through Uber eats and everything arrived warm looking and tasting delicious. This place is like a little hidden treasure. I will definitely order from them again and I definitely recommend trying them. Good Job guys!
