Me and my wife walked in and was very excited to order from this new spot we never heard of it but it was our first time there. Our order came up to 36 dollar pricing was affordable, but the customer services would ruin your experience and appetite I took my money and I left. First the cashier was sitting on a stool just on her phone. Then as I was paying another employee walked up eating a corn bread in her hand ?. She barely wanted to take my order and they didn’t give me that experience I was looking for.

LISTEN!!! DO NOT COME HERE!!! I was a frequent customer here so it saddens me to have to leave this horrible review. I waited over 40 minutes for my order. When I went to retrieve my order, I was told that someone was making it. 20 minutes later I asked about my order. The owner for no reason at all said "you can either wait or get your money back." The manner in which she said it was shocking. She is the rude and unprofessional. I guess she thought I was going to wait for the food to get done, but I asked for my money back. The owner got mad and not only confronted me about it, but also followed me outside to my car. She got inside her car and and drove behind me aggressively only to turn off when she got to the next street. I'm not sure if she was already leaving but the whole scene was horrible. I literally came down to Our Papa restaurant down the street from Tippys and ordered the same thing for less. I was talking to the people inside Our Papi about what just happened. Literally everyone had negative things to say about the owner. I don't want to ruin a black business, but you have to get your act together or YOU will be the reason why you LOSE your business. The blessing is disguise is that, I found a better restaurant right down the street from you OUR PAPA. Better food, cheaper prices. Good luck!

I’m all for supporting my people but look here this ain’t it I know when I’m eating straight out the microwave .turkey wings was good but still cold seafood rice was cold and cooked separately don’t heat up the crab meat with the rice that’s not how it done cabbage was the only thing hot.

Frist time, the food was delicious. Grill pork chops, collard green and Mac & cheese. The service was superb. The owner made sure that everything was great. I went back the next day for breakfast. Check it out

I order conch dinner they didn't have which most of the time they don't have so I order Turkey wings waited too damn long forgot I was even waiting on my food wait be to long for the food plus they don't give you corn bread for the dinner smh
Let me start with THIS FOOD WAS ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!!! Im from GA so to have some Real southern cooked food tasted like home. I only got video for 2 of our plates, but the rest of our family ordered & we all loved it. The restaurant was small, so it's more of an in & out type restaurant. We took an uber there & even though it didn't seem like an area we needed to be in as tourists, we felt right at home. I believe it was a busy time for them as they were transitioning from breakfast to lunch, bc the wait was kinda long, which didn't matter once we tasted our food & I now want to go back for breakfast. While waiting I noticed a memory mural on the wall & it was beautiful! And shows why this food was so good & tasted like the sweet loving feeling of home, bc her family carried out her dream with her restaurant & delicious menu. I wish many blessings upon everyone here & my family thanks you!

Today was my first time eating here. The lady who took my order did not have great customer service at all, which is why I gave the overall experience a 3star. I would have normally just walked out. Fast forward , when my food was ready she yelled “salmon croquettes. You can get your drink from out of there” and walked away. Like gone out of sight. . Remind you, I hadn’t even got up from my seat to see which one was the flavor that I ordered because again it was my first time there & it was different flavors . I did ask the lady who was cooking and she was very pleasant and ended up assisting me. On the other hand, the food was good. I ordered salmon croquettes with grits and eggs and a pineapple punch. I did pay for cheese but didn’t get it which is fine. I was still able to eat it without having to add anything and the drink was good as well.
