Where to start....we were greeted by a very nice lady and seated at our table. Then our server Edgar came over. He told us the favorites and the chef's recommendations; as well as his. The food was absolutely delicious; every single thing we ordered. The complimentary Columbian cheese bread...best I ever had. Guacamole and plantain chips, lomo soltado, skirt steak and Brussels sprouts. Then for desert we shared La Bomba....wow was that good. We were a party of 4...definitely recommend

We ordered steaks they was covered in to much butter and they was not tender at all very chewy the guy next to us even asked one of the waiters if his waiter quit or went on break our waiter did keep our drinks coming tho

We started our meal with the guacamole and house made chips. We were given cheesey bread with the most delicious tomato sauce. We had wagu fillet and a 14oz ribeye. They were cooked to perfection. Truffle fries were served with a sweet mustard sauce. The roasted brussel sprouts were the best I have ever had. For dessert we had La Bomb A which is a big chocolate sphere, cream cheese mousse and tres leches ice cream, strawberry ice cream and fresh berries....so good! The presentation was beautiful. Our server Aimee was attentive. She shared her knowledge of the menu. Her warmth and friendliness made our 30th anniversary one we will never forget. When you make your reservation at Toro Toro make sure that you request Aimee!

This is not your ordinary hotel restaurant. Vibrant, fun, and great service. And I had a dish from their pre fixe dinner menu that was just deliciously outstanding! I was pleasantly surprised, and look forward to my return to Miami so I can come back.
The team was so attentive. I attended during “Miami spice” month. The pre fixed menu was delicious, my waiter made great recommendations and the service/transition between plates was both smooth and efficient, I'd return.

My husband and I recently stayed at the InterContinental Miami and decided to dine at Toro Toro, the restaurant in the lobby. I ordered the salmon, which was cooked to perfection and thoroughly enjoyable. However, our experience took a turn when my husband received his Toro Toro burger, which he had requested to be well done.
Upon eating his burger he noticed it looked slightly pink. We called over Alexandra, who assured us that it looked fine, despite our concerns. My husband, unsure but not wanting to make a fuss, continued eating. However, when he cut the burger in half himself it was evident how raw it was, leaving him feeling uneasy and turned off from the meal entirely.
The potential risk of food poisoning was a serious concern, and while Alexandra offered to remake the burger, the damage was done. The lack of immediate attention to the issue was disappointing, but what was more troubling was the response from the management. When the bill arrived, there was no adjustment for the uncooked burger until my husband brought it up. Even then, the manager, who was present, did not take the time to address the issue directly with us, despite the restaurant being nearly empty.
Our concern isn't about the cost of the burger, but rather the lack of empathy, respect, and acknowledgment we received during the situation. For a restaurant of Toro Toro's caliber, particularly in a prestigious hotel like the InterContinental Miami, we expected a much higher level of service and attentiveness. This experience left us feeling disappointed and disrespected, and we hope that future guests do not have to endure a similar situation.
Gilberto was an amazing server he was super helpful with my allergies. The pan de bono was a great touch for the app.

We arrived without a reservation on a Thursday around 6pm and we were delighted that they were able to seat us quickly as we had a long 10 hour drive that day. Needless to say we were ready to tear it up on good food.
We came here as me and my husband have been here before for cocktails and enjoyed our experience and said we would get dinner next time. We brought friends with us as we were all vacationing together to celebrate our anniversary’s.
Let’s get into it- We were seated immediately and our server was at our table as we were being seated filling up our glasses with water. It gave us a chance to read over menus and have him explain things on the menu. Our server was fantastic. We ordered a good spread of food, some managed to get photographs taken before we jumped in. Everything with our appetizers was delicious and cooked great. The flavors were extremely satisfying after a day of snacking in the car. The Amarillo ceviche came as a suggestion from our server and it was absolutely delicious.
2 of us ordered the Wagyu, and both were ordered medium and arrived medium. They tasted amazing, so tender and flavorful. I like how they seasoned them and added the butter on top and it really made for an enjoyable meal. I also ordered the potatoes 3 ways and they were great. It had little crispy potatoes flaked on top, little tiny baby potatoes, and mashed potatoes. It was delicious. One of us said it was the best steak they’ve ever had, and for me personally it was in my top 5. I’ve tried lots of Wagyu and it was delicious, but I’ve had better. This is where the lack of 5 stars on food came from for me.
I would absolutely come back again as it was a very enjoyable meal and really wasn’t a bad price for a very nice meal. Our server also made the experience enjoyable as we didn’t have to wait on refills, he was amazing at explaining any questions we had, and his suggestions also made for a very enjoyable dinner. The food also came out in a nice timely manner and we weren’t sitting for hours waiting so that was also nice to get dinner wrapped up quickly and into bed for our cruise the next morning.
