Truluck's is my go-to, and it was off its game this time. The food was good. But their famous carrot cake was no longer great. We took our friend in for a landmark birthday which I let them know about on the reservation. They started off strong and had set the table cutely with a card and little hearts, but then the waiter completely spaced. The place was oddly empty, but everything took a very long time to come out - and we had mostly ordered off the executive lunch menu....
This is our 3rd time there and each time it has been fantastic! The staff, the food and the ambiance are just perfect. We don't live in the area so we wish there was one in the Orlando area.
Always an amazing experience here! Shout out to the whole team for creating a wonderful birthday evening. A special thanks to Paola for always making our evenings at trulucks unforgettable.
