The atmosphere is absolutely fantastic, with a lively and welcoming vibe that makes you feel right at home. The food is delicious and thoughtfully prepared, offering a delightful experience for your taste buds. However, be prepared to take your time, as the pace here is leisurely, allowing you to fully savor each moment and every bite.

The chips with Guac were amazing. The chips were boiling hot which I loved. Al pastor taco was delicious as well, you can tell the tortilla is homemade. Steak burrito is one of the best I’ve had in Miami. Birria tacos also very good.

Summary: Food was cold, inedible, worst burrito I’ve actually ever bitten into in my life because the meat was all one giant wad with fat stuck together in the ENTIRE burrito. And service was not good, guy at counter made me feel like he hated working there or wanted me to leave.
I’ve been here a few times for sit in, normally service is decent since it’s usually busy late night. Dec 16 at 12 AM had take out for the second time and tipped $1, which isn’t required (especially for take out) and not the best tip but the burrito I received was absolutely disgusting. Not sure if there is a correlation here with tipping for take out and quality of food and service, but that’s not a proper way to keep customers satisfied.
The steak was all one giant piece stuck together by fat and wasn’t cut at all it seemed. At first, I thought it was just one part of the burrito, but the whole burrito was like that, and all the meat was connected together. I threw the whole burrito away because It was impossible to attempt to chew through the giant wad of meat I have in the photo.
Not to mention, I wasn’t notified about my takeout order being complete even though I was waiting at the counter for over 25 minutes, staring at my order trying to get someone’s attention, even tho I politely reminded 2 separate men working the front and floor.
A previous time a worker actually checked my quesadilla and opened the tortillas with his bare hands in front of me, like shuffling a deck of cards. And again, I waited for 30+ minutes with no notice of my order being completed and I was right by the counter. I was hoping the lapse in service was isolated but apparently not.

I came here hungry and psyched for a tasty meal since the reviews are so good. Unfortunately, my meal was a huge disappointment. I ordered a burrito, which I thought was on the pricey side since this place looks very no-frills — there’s only outdoor seating. I thought maybe this was because the food was so good with fresh ingredients. Wrong! My burrito’s tortilla tasted burned and had a weird aftertaste, like it was fried or toasted using old oil. The filling was not gross, but neither was it anything to write home about. The only positive thing I can say about the burrito was that it arrived hot and the portion was large..

I heard good things about this place on Instagram and i wanted to give it a try..
Honestly i am a little bit disappointed..
I know that Mexican food is not fancy at all and has to be an easy concept but i didn't like that much this place..
No vibes, no service at all..place is kind of dirty from my point of view..
Food was nothing special..i think there are better mexican place in the city.
I don't think i will go back there

I’m allergic to tomatoes and cannot remove pico off the shrimp burrito on Uber eats when placing the order. I then call the restaurant twice to inform since their mobile delivery doesn’t let me add a note but no one picks up the phone. This is ridiculous I understand they don’t want any complex modifications but if someone has an allergy they should be able to easily remove it. So many restaurants have this option but uptown 66 has been too lazy to spend more time fixing this to accommodate their customers.
Uptown is my favorite place to get nachos!! The ingredients are super fresh, the queso is amazing, and the chips are so crispy. My favorite is getting the steak nachos and though they are simple with the toppings, they taste delicious and are my go-to favorite. I also enjoyed the flautas and tacos - birria, chicken, and barbacoa.
