Tried Urban Rrasoi and honestly left underwhelmed. The food itself was decent but nothing special, and the portion sizes were shockingly small. Definitely not sharable (you’d probably need two entrées just to satisfy one person). For example, the butter chicken is $20 for a single portion, which feels overpriced. On top of that, the service was basically non-existent- no one checked on us, and we couldn’t even get a water refill. I’m honestly surprised this place is rated so highly. We ended up going elsewhere afterward just to actually feel like we had a meal.

Delicious food! Great service from Lucy. Went with my friends. I got tandoori chicken which was DELICIOUS!!!!- the whole is a great portion! I shared some with friends and still had some for later. I’ve also tried the butter chicken here and it was yummy, as was the spinach daal. The coconut curry chicken is fantastic, as is the coconut naan. The mild is not spicy at all in my opinion for your friends who cannot handle spice! Definitely check this place out for a delicious and comforting meal :).

As soon as you walked in you’re greeted with the smells of pepper and spice and I was extremely excited for this meal especially since I had eaten here before. Our server was amazing as well. She took care of us as soon as we got in. And that’s where the great service ended, she did her best, but she had no control of the speed of service in the kitchen. We ordered several dishes and a side salad as an appetizer. It took 30 minutes for our side salad to come out whilst a table of 8 that came in after us were getting their main dishes. We received our side salad and shortly after started receiving the dishes we ordered. The last dish to come to our table was a side order of pickled veggies that should have also come sooner. The food was amazing. Don’t get me wrong, but the speed of service was atrocious. A table that came in after us and when we were almost done eating got their appetizers and mains before we finished eating. Absolutely ridiculous.
