While the food is tasty and the atmosphere/vibe of this cafe is inviting, their customer service is quite the opposite.
I came here the other day with my friend for the first time and we were super excited to try something new. We noticed they offer Blue and Pink Matcha on their menu, and after asking the cashier for her opinion, we decided to give it a go. Unfortunately, my friend and I were not fans of the drinks as they lacked flavor all around.
I politely go back to the register, and nicely ask the cashier for a possible exchange on our drinks since we were not satisfied. The cashier gives me a dead look and says “you will have to wait.” I understand she was helping other guests in line, and I didn’t mind waiting, but there are better ways to respond to your customers.
Shortly after, I get the opportunity to ask for a regular classic Matcha as that has never disappointed me or my friend.
Then, the barista gives me the dirtiest look and says “it will take about 15 minutes.” I still smile back and politely respond, “ok :)” Always kill ‘em with kindness.
We finally get our classic Matchas, only to be disappointed AGAIN. I don’t know about their other drinks, but their Matchas specifically, are TASTELESS. We’ve never had such bad Matcha before, and their horrible customer service made it THAT much worse. So not worth the time and effort.

Definitely is a lot of healthy options in this place. I get the banana crepe and my friend gets the salmon egg. For her the experience it wasn’t really good. Her eggs for her taste it has to be a little more dry, my crepe was really good also the price, I didn’t try any pastries just because I was already getting carbs in my breakfast, I just know the look amazing.
I just saw the receipt 18% service Dine in? I been in other cities and never see this fee before ?

I’ve been to Vanilla Cafe a few times and decided to update my review based on my latest experience.
The service is mostly pleasant, and the berry lemonade is absolutely amazing—highly recommend it! However, once again, we waited over 30 minutes for our food, which is disappointing.
When the food finally arrived, we had ordered vareniki with berries and potatoes/mushrooms. While the flavors were good, the dishes were stone cold. We informed the bartender, and while they agreed to warm it up, their response felt unwelcoming—an unhappy face and a deep breath before reluctantly taking care of it.
For a $75 meal, it’s upsetting to encounter such a lack of attentiveness to quality and service. Vanilla Cafe has potential, but they really need to work on consistency and customer care.

The food was pretty good.
They charge 18% dine in fee 7% taxes and i tipped the guy at the register.
I ended up paying 53$ for 1 soup and 2 croissants.
Is the food 5 stars? Yes!
