The food is okay, not bad but not great either, definitely overpriced for what it is but the main issue was the service. They didn't bother serving wasabi or ginger or the cup for the sauce for my rolls, and when it was time to pay, they just gave me the machine without any indication that the tip was already included so I almost added another 20% on top of the existing tip, and they after leaving, they didn't even say bye back...

Please note that this review is based on a single visit during the Thanksgiving holidays and is intended as constructive criticism.
I visited this restaurant with my girlfriend, who was in town, and we left feeling disappointed. While there were some positive aspects, the overall experience fell short. First, I want to highlight that the host, the bald man at the entrance, was exceptional—friendly, welcoming, and genuinely attentive to the service quality in the restaurant. Unfortunately, that’s where the positive aspects ended.
Our waitress took around 20 minutes to greet us and seemed indifferent to my girlfriend's dietary restrictions; she served her miso soup and tuna tartare, both containing gluten, without acknowledging our request for gluten-free options. When we pointed out the mistake, the waitress simply took the plates back without offering an apology or a solution.
The fried rice was outstanding and I highly recommend it, but sadly, the sushi and sashimi were subpar—thick and slimy. The service was lacking in other ways as well: our waitress did not check in with us after we ordered, didn’t remove used plates, and made no effort to offer more drinks. When we were hit with a mandatory 20% service fee, she only offered an apology after I mentioned that her service was disappointing, and even then, her response was, “I wasn’t supposed to serve your table; they just gave it to me when you came in.”
We left frustrated after spending $150 and felt let down, especially considering my background in hospitality—having worked as a waiter, bartender, manager, and owner. The service we received reflected a lack of commitment to customer care and overall professionalism. This feedback is meant to be constructive, and I truly hope the team at this restaurant takes it to heart and makes improvements. I wish the restaurant all the best in the future.

Absolutely loved it! It's my second time going and I really liked everything we ate! My dad and I got one of their sashimi/nigiri/and you chose a roll sharing platters and man... not for two people only (at most three medium-hungry people). We did have 2 apps for their happy hour, the crab salad and the fried gyozas. I totally missed “fried” in the gyozas and forgot I don't like fried gyozas anymore (they were delicious, just steamed is my preference). The salad was wonderful and fresh, very cooling for an extremely hot afternoon. I had also gotten one of their mocktails (it had something with “sober” in the name), super yummy but a little too sweet. The waiters we had were amazing and very attentive as well. Overall, I recommend this restaurant! :)
Unfortunately we didn't get to dine here as they refused to honor our Miami Spice reservation for Friday lunch at 12:15. It was supposed to be a birthday celebration for my son. The staff made no attempt whatsoever to assist us When we complained, management sent us a note explaining that, on Fridays, thet only did Miami Spice for lunch, not dinner. Interesting!! Did they think we were eating dinner at 12:15 on a Friday afternoon?
We enjoyed every moment there. We will go again
