I normally shy away from vegan only spots-THIS PLACE PUTS MY HOPE IN TASTY VEGAN FOOD!! I picked up my bestie and told her that I wanted to try this place. Her car was in the shop so she kinda had no choice. When we arrived there wasn't anyone seated-hmmmm, did I mess up? We dove right in. We ordered the croqueta platter, 2 "ham" and one chickpea. And also the yucitas with the garlic cilantro sauce. She also asked for a cafe con "leche". I opted for a Materva-cuz...I haven't had one in years. For our mains she ordered a cuban sandwich which was made with jackfruit (sangwich?) and I chose the piccadillo bowl. I have to be honest-I was here on faith!. All of our food arrived quickly-we utilized the qr codes on the outdoor table. I expected the "ham" croqueta to outshine the chickpea one-nope! I loved the chickpea one. The cafe con "leche" was nice and smooth. I tried her cuban sandwich and it was good-not my thing, tasty, just not for me. The cilantro sauce was DELICIOUS!! We dipped the yucaitas, the sandwich, our fingers...so good. The star of the day though was the picadillo bowl. WOW!!! I opted for a bed of rice also with the cilantro sauce. Given the side options I chose sweet plantains-of course!!! Bestie and I were in vegan food heaven. Everything was hot, fresh and tasty. I told our server, Mario (cute as can be) that we will be back. He was so polite and attentive. We both highly recommend!

WOW WOW WOW!!! I was blown away by how good the items I had were! Honestly, I read the good reviews first then the bad reviews to see the contrast. I had a croquetta and 2 papa rellenas. OMG the croquetta was absolutely delicious; gave Isla Canarias a run for the money. The flavor was spot on and texture too. So often texture of vegan "meat" can be a lot to be desired. The papa rellenas waere also delicious! Kudos to the chef for the creations' flavors AND textures. I sent 2 friends that weekend and they too loved their meals. Definitely a place I will visit again and again.

They’re under construction now but the outside seating is covered and adorable. The staff were EXTREMELY friendly and helpful. I had the empanadas and the potato ball (that was my favorite). Also had the coffee with milk, lightly sweetened with cinnamon and OH MY GOODNESS. Some delicious coffee.

Had to stop here on the way home. They were super quick to make Togo and also an add on colada so we could make it to the airport. THANK YOU!!Wish we could have sat in their cute outdoor patio seating. Looks like indoor seating coming soon. The ham croquettes and Cuban sandwich are a must. The Guava & Cheeze Pastelito was soooo good. You can order on the virtual menu or the QR code at the tables. I wish this business all the success in the world!Vegetarian options: All vegan

Drinks are amazing! Food was really good, but could have come out a little warmer. Felt like everything was reheated and not reheated enough. Outdoor seating area where you can also order from your phone at your table. Complimentary water station.

Enjoyed the plant-based version of some of the Cuban food I grew up with. When we attended they were working in expanding and did not have indoor seating available but it did not take away from our experience. Nice weather outside and the seating area made for a good change of pace.

Some of the most delicious food we've ever had! The sandwiches, croquetas, pastelito, papa relleno, and abuelitas flan were so authentic that it was hard to believe it was vegan. We want to try everything on the menu. We're visiting from Lake Nona in Orlando and hope you expand to our area!

This place is soooooooo amazing! The food is always great, and the coffee is phenomenal. The best barista here is Mario, who always has incredible service and makes perfect cafecitos. It's a super warm environment, and I can't recommend it enough!

Updated review: The owner saw my posts and thankfully apologized and gave us a 20% refund and a refund of the tip which is very appreciated. The message was still... well, see for yourself in the photo. Idk feel like the anger was pretty justified but ok. The food was excellent just maybe order takeout! *** If i could give this place 0 stars i would. Never in my entire life have I left a bad yelp review- I have worked many years in food service. Before we got our food a server dropped some of the dishes and it ended up splattering all over me and my partner. It completely coated the back of his shirt and even got in his hair. The server was barely apologetic only offering a wet rag to clean ourselves up with. We asked if they could refund our meal (we had to prepay) and he said no so we asked to speak with the supervisor (something i've only cringed at hearing in the past). She clearly didn't care and only offered a free dessert or food which we already had plenty of since we ordered at the start. She said she couldn't refund us due to "human error"... that would be if WE spilled the food not your server! It completely ruined my partners shirt and got all over our clothes and again IN HIS HAIR! It doesn't matter whether or not the food is good when it ends up all over you. Enjoy our prepaid 20% tip I guess.

I hadn’t had a croqueta in over 20 years since I had become a vegan and the croqueta is that this place makes taste so close to the real thing it’s shocking. All of their bus still is and empanadas and pretty much everything I had on the menu there was phenomenal. I went back four times in the week that I was in Miami and it’s definitely on my must visit place. Every time I go back to Miami it’s a must stop for vegans. It’s only outdoor seating and it’s in a little strip mall so it’s very easy to parks

Curiosity led me here. I'm not vegan so this review is just based on taste and comparison to its original (non-plant based Cuban sandwich). First thing I notice is the lack of meat from what you'd expect from an original Cuban sandwich. I took a few bites and didn't like the taste or the gooey cheese substitute oozing out. The overpowering flavors were pickles Mayo and mustard. Didn't really taste more than that. $14 for bread and sauce just isn't worth going back for. As for the ambiance: the location is at the south left corner of a strip mall and can barely be seen from the sunset street entrance. I had to walk to the end to find it. Once there, you wait a few minutes for someone to come to the window. You don't order with a person but with a computer. No one was sitting in the sitting area for the 30 mins I was there. A few people came by to pick up their order and left. I didn't feel welcome and being my first time, I feel the attendant could have given me more guidance.
