You can take here a brake after the long walk around the Vizcaya. Prices are big.

The cafe was almost empty and we waited 20 minutes!! for a salad that doesn’t even taste good! There were 5 people and only two working! The beef empanada was greasy.

Teenage girl who works at the coffee counter is incredibly rude and needs training on how to deal with customers appropriately. She recently provided a really horrible iced coffee that had grounds floating all over the top and bottom. When asked to remake it (due to her own mistake), she was very curt and snarky. It was an extremely unpleasant experience. Do better Vizcaya Cafe.

A gem!!! We sat outside in the back looking at the huge banyan that creates a beautiful screen where sunlight filters. Lovely to see the herbs and vegetables beds. Young woman in restaurant came out with our food and opened several umbrellas for us to choose from. Cappuccinos were delicious.
Lovely Saturday morning treat.

Just recently discovered this lovely little café and I went last weekend (4/6/25) and I had the bacon and egg croissant, literally one of the best sandwich croissants I’ve ever eaten! The egg was hard boiled and sliced, the bacon was delicious and it was all on a bed of tomato slice and fresh spinach with an Aïoli spread. And I had a delicious fresh brewed iced tea. My friend had another kind of breakfast croissant, but it was equally as yummy. Highly recommend this place for the fresh food and lovely outdoor seating!

Can't tell much about food b/c everything is eclipsed by rude and lazy staff. Apparently, they have absolutely no clue about a concept of customer service. Arguing and criticizing customers! Amazingly, customers have been mentioning this in reviews for the past 2 years! What kind of management runs this place!? For the amount of money they charge, they should be able to find normal people to work here. Unbelievable!!

Very nice. Unexpected. You can enjoy a nice snack outside by the gardens. Not bad for a museum cafeteria at all.

So much more than a gift shop! Usually historic places have a place where you can get a bite but at Vizcaya the café is so much more. From the grilled cheese (with onions and fig jam) to the soup to the latte to the Dr. Browns creme soda everything is spectacular. If it wasn't in Vizcaya it would still be packed. Everyone should visit Miami Dade's most fabulous house and gardens and leave time and an appetite for the Cafe.

Ask for the receipt and always check the prices, I did it too late! I had to pay $5 for a cappuccino (which was hardly a cappuccino at all) and $3 for a pack of M&Ms. I ended up paying $9.63, that means (tax excluded) I paid $9 instead of $8. DISHONEST!!!
