been going here for many years and always thought that if they turn the lights on, I probably would never go back but today I did, I ordered eggs, Benedict, southern style and got a hard as a rock, English muffin, a deep fried or petrified piece of sausage, and some undercooked poached eggs. The food usually taste good but this place is so filthy and even the steak knife they gave me to cut. My food was just packed with grease in the corners. It’s nice to think you could support an old-time neighborhood place but I think this place is prime, has passed along time ago, and now it’s just a health violation, waiting to be written up . And again it makes you wonder what county inspectors are doing because the ceiling tiles in this place are beyond disgusting. The backsplash is the grease and dirt. They would have many citations if someone wasn’t coming in there and getting a free lunch all these years. I dare them to pass an inspection. last time I was in there, they had a go fund me for poor Walter because he couldn’t afford the rent anymore, but now they’ve just raise the prices up to be ridiculous. I brought my own coffee and had the eggs Benedict and it cost me $16 which I wouldn’t mind if it was a good experience I would’ve paid 20.

I've been going to Wagons West for 40 years, and will never go back again. They need to change the name to Wagons Worst! My wife and I with our Granddaughter drove from Homestead to have breakfast their. The busser was cranky and basically threw our silverware on the table on his way by. I had to get up and get our own menus, after 10 minutes, when the waitress came to the table we both asked for coffee she brought back one coffee and slammed it on the table, then asked if you're ready to order, my wife explained her that we both wanted coffee and the waitress snapped at her and then became rude, at that moment I got up and told her we were leaving she responded I'm glad you're leaving. This place used to be an awesome place to get comfort food. Now the food is just okay and the wait staff is horrible and the restaurant is filthy! My mother and my aunt had an experience last week at Wagons Worst where a waitress tried to charge them for grits that they did not ordered and when my mother looked over the receipt and pointed it out, she actual started to raise her voice and argue with my mother that she had ordered grits. My mother then asked if I had grits where is the bowl it came in. My Mother and Aunt will never go back now either.

Wagon’s West has been around forever. It’s small inside, it has booths, high top seating at the bar, and on weekends sometimes there is a band outside where you can listen while you wait for a table. The food is a solid B+ diner food. The staff are great, the servers work hard, we’ve been going forever and enjoy it. We will be back. ??❤️

Very very very slow and the place wasn't even busy. It took the waitress over 12 minutes to just come and take our order. We saw her going to another table multiple times and standing in the back. We had to ask another server to take our order. The back of the restaurant was very hot. Food took over 20 minutes to come, we ordered a egg sandwich and a omelet. Been her a few times and each time have had the same experience, came on different times and days just to give it another try. But haven't been pleased unless we do take out.The waitress didn't check up on us a single time.Parking: Lot of parking spots, depending on the day, the plaza can be full.

Invited my friend to join me for breakfast. He also appreciates an old fashioned greasy spoon diner environment for breakfast. As always exceeded our expectations. Understand under new ownership but the quality has been maintained.

This place has the some of the best breakfast food I’ve ever eaten! The biscuits and gravy were on point. The food was prepared very quick. The bathrooms were a little dirty. I highly recommend!

The restaurant has been here for 42 years. And it really feel that way. I always love coming to an old establishment. It means it must be good in order to last that long. My kids love the hamburger. My home fries taste rancid. And we order blueberry pancake and they gave us chocolate pancake. Food quality really not there. So it’s not Exactly what we expected. The space just feel not that clean, sticky floor, dirty plate station. The best part is friendly staff.

Sad I have to write this. Stay away from this place! The place is so dirty, it literally looks like it still has the dust from 1980. First the unsweetened tea was rancid! Then my salad was the inside yellow part of the lettuce and 2 tomato slices for $12.75 and the chicken for $3 had NO SEASONING. It was just a chicken breast thrown on the grill with no flavor. The floor was so sticky I had to pull my feet up. Especially the mat by the door. My husband's sandwich was EH. And the pickle tasted rancid as well. Gross gross gross. And to top it all off, my salad was supposed to be $15.75 and they charged me $19.75. I never give bad reviews, but I felt this was warranted.

Best diner around! Overall Amazing! Reasonably priced for huge portions and extremely consistent day in and day out! Highly Recommend!!!I always order the egg, cheese, bacon on a croissant or an English muffin. My boyfriend orders something different each time and they never disappoint.

Yuk! Is all I can think of right now. I wonder how many food violations they have. I'm sitting in my car writing this review while my experience is french on my mind. Here we go... I didn't take a picture of the food because I ate here once before and I was reminded why I never came back. I ordered biscuits and gravy with eggs over medium and bacon. My husband ordered the California omelet. The bacon came cold and looked as if it had been cooked in old oil. The food taste like absolutely nothing bland and old. He said his food "tasted old and like nothing" As I'm sitting there upset I'm looking around and there is no way this place doesn't have food violations. It's dingy and dirty, THE FOOD taste how the restaurant looks. I will never eat there again.

Everything one would expect in an old style diner atmosphere with a welcome feeling. Food was delicious but definitely calorie heavy. Service was quick and friendly. If you're up for an old style, truly American breakfast, this is the place.

Got the half order of Sausage Gravy and Biscuits with a Spinach and Cheese Omlet. They were both delicious. I chose grits and English muffin as sides to Omlet. It was all so very good. The restaurant closes at 3pm so you can't get dinner here.
