For those unaware of what happens when they call for a pick up order and they do not show up, that food is wasted. SO in order for your order to be done by the time you arrive do tell the person you want to pay for your order. THEY WILL TELL YOU HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE FOR THE FOOD TO BE READY ! The food here is amazing THEY HAVE WHOLE SNAPPERS, LOBSTER, SHRIMP AND GREAT STEAKS !! IS NOT JUST A CUBAN RESTAURANT IS A SEAFOOD RESTAURANT WITH THE CUBAN SASON !!!!

This place is different because it has Roberto Mongeotti, an exceptional singer who performs Monday through Thursday and sings everything from classical songs to bachata. We go at least three days a week. The people applaud him enthusiastically during many of his songs.

The food and the attention was as good as many Cuban restaurants in Miami, the must negative aspect of the restaurant was the percentage of the tip they set and absurd service charge for an already expensive menu I don't recommend this restaurant search the web and you'll find much better places.

I ordered a fish, but it was covered with way too much sauce, completely blocking the natural taste of the fish. The sauce was overwhelming, and instead of enjoying the dish, I was forced to drink Pepto-Bismol afterward just to calm my stomach. Price extremely high 2 adults and 1 kid we paid $190.00 which I don’t mind to pay it in other kind of restaurants, but this one is a regular restaurant. Very disappointing experience.

I must admit, the food here is incredibly delicious. However, the service is absolutely appalling. They don’t allow you to order and pick up your food . You have to pay first for your food to be ready when you arrive. And if you don’t pay first and pay in person, like it has happened to me multiple times, they take more than 30 to 40 minutes to give you the food. This defeats the purpose of ordering over the phone. They should either eliminate this service or allow people to pay once they pick up their food.
The lady who answers the phone is highly disrespectful and never wants to give me the manager’s name. I genuinely loved this place with the old owner, but now I hate it because of how they manage their staff .I never leave reviews, but today was exceptionally bad. I called to make an order for my one-year-old son food, which was less than $20. They told me I had to wait 30 minutes once I arrived and pay for them to have my food . I asked the lady multiple times to speak to the manger which supposedly wasn’t there I also asked for her name , but she refused to give me it or the names of the managers in charge.

I’ve been to this restaurant before in the afternoon and everything was great—the service and the food. But today, 12/06, I came at night and as soon as I walked in, they told me they were closed, which is not true because that’s not what they have posted. So the information on their door is not reliable. I drove 30 minutes to get here and ended up wasting my time because it seems like the staff tonight just didn’t feel like serving two more customers.

The food was good, tamal excellent, lechon was a bit burnt, red beans were a bit watery. The chairs are a bit small, like kids middle school size. I was presented with 2 tickets that didn’t show the service charge, so i added another tip more than 20% on top of the one already included. I thought a waitress was supposed to tell you “tip included and you may add more if you’d like” . Really disappointed about this, trying to get a 40% tip ?
